Charged $70 for an oil change in which they did not change oil filter and stripped the bolts so bad that they had to be broken off to do another oil change ... Also requested I get a coolant flush when I refused he went back under the hood and then brought me my car. A few miles down the road my car overheated! Coincendence? I think not ! My car overheated on the freeway ...radiator blew, belt on water pump shredded and hoses flew off! Really?! Right after I left and refused additional costs from you crooks!

Took my van in for new brakes.waited 3 hours. When i left, brakes were sqeaking. Took it back and they told me pads breaking in. Charged me for new pads and rotors.

Just 10,000 miles later, front brakes now grinding, metal on metal. Took can to Firestone for inspection. They showed me pads wore down to metal and rotors ground down to invade level. There is no way news pads and rotors would wear down like that in just 10,000 miles I don't believe they installed new. They charged me $336 for services.

On Feb. 14/15 I called Just Brakes and asked if they seviced BMW's and was told yes, BMW, Mercedes and even had a Mazarati in last week so I thought they coud do a brake job. I had had a brake light coming on and off for 4 days, Mad an appt. for 2:30 and went in and told them all about my car and nt to have a coffee whoile it was repaired. About 2 !/2 hours later i got a call and was told they had good news and weird news, my brake pads were fine had 3/4th's of the pad left so their must be a kink in the wireing somewhere but i need to return to the shop which i did. When i got there they said my controll arms needed to be replaced at a cost of $1,153.18 so i said ok you know waht your doing. Thant was on a Saturday on Mondayi called where i had just had some body work done the week prior due to an accident and Just Brakes thought my brake light was cause because of that. I took it in on Tuesday and was told that they needed to have a wireing specialist come in on Wednsday to bring it back then which I did, with in 2 hours they called me and said it was just my brake pads it was the sensor touching the inner pad and not the outer pad and they texted me pictures and pictures of 3 Lug nuts that had been put back in at an angle stripping them. I went back to Just Brakes and showed them pics that were sthey replaced the pads and i left ent to me and they siad they don't know how they could have missed that. They put new brakes on which i should have w=questioned but thougt they knew what they were doing, $680.34 for that. I left but returned complining about the noise that the brakes were making i had no brake noise before the new brakes were installed. I ws told that was normal to give it a week or 2 to seed.??? over the next couple of days the noise got worse and i called and complained and went back and went for a drive and the guy said to give it a while longer, over the next couple of days i called every other just brakes i could find and told them I had my brakes replaced somewhere else and wa s that noise normal and was told by all of them no it was not normal. So i called and said i was going to bring it back in and an hour later got a call from them and said I must have gotten a bad set of pads. I went back and they replaced the pads but must have just replaced the front brakes i left and got 3 blocks and a brake light came on and when I made a turn I lost all brakes and almost hit a truck parked beside the street, i returned and they took it back in and did something becouse the brake light was off but the brakes were soft, i left and made the same turn and the brakes went out again. I made it back and they put it up on the rack and said it could be alot of things to leave it over night and they would work on it tomorrow, I refued. I thought at this point they would do something to my car to cover their Butt's ....I returned early the next morning after talking to the dealership that said that indecator light ment their was air in the line, i also was on the phone with Just Brakes Corporate office in the parking lot when the guy came out and I told him i was on the phone with corporate and He replied the'll just call me. I ent in and told him about air in the lines and he said it was not possible they bleed the lines and i stood there while they put it on diagnostics to test to see what it was and it showed their was air in the lines, the were going to bleed the brakes as i waited I stood there then i was told they need to order new brakes, the pads they put on were the wrong pads.....they were not even touching the rotors. When they replaced them everything seemed to be ok but the trouble just started. I contacted corporate again and was told i would be contacted, after calling seveal times i was called at 9:17 am on a sunday and missed the call returned the calll at 11:28 am and got a Mr.Samir Omar, asked if he wanted the long version or the short version and was told the long version, i started out by saying that my brakes failed twice and then he asked if he could call me back in 20 minuets, a week went by before he returned the calls I had made to him an the call came in around 7:30 am and i told him the story and he said i could not have gotten bad pads and the wrong pads being put on was irrisponsible and to meet him at the Just Brakes location at 6:30 am on Thursday, when i got the at 6:3 he was already talking to all the employees and he said something about taking customers on a test drive after the repairs and i said i had gone on mutiple test drives with 2 different employees and they said the noise was normal and i pointed out the fact he had said i was not normal and then he asked me to step out in the service bay area and told me not to ringer point his employees??? i was there to tell my story so they could her it from the customer but i was asked if i was going to remove my complaint with the BBB and i sad no and was aked to leave, I called corporate again to complain about that and nothing. I called Mr. Omar to get his fax number so I could fax information about repairs i had recived the week prior to going to just brakes that showed i did not need and he asked agin when i was going to remove the BBB complaint I told him when something was done to rectify the issue and i was told he would not talk to me until i removed any negative complaints, BBB complaints can not be removed but a statement as to what was done to settle it can be but they are not willing to Do anything. I've left several messages for a Mr. Tom Balask a VP with Just Brakes and still have not heard back from him either they refuse to do anything to correct a very major mistake on their part, one is the fact that I could have been KILLED or KILLED someone when my brakes failed twice, the only thing at this point i can do is dispute the charges aith all the documentation I have and when the $1,783.52 is removed from their account that might get their attention because nothing else seems to matter to them but Dollars. MR. Balask, Mr. Omar do something.,

This is a follow up to a concern letter I wrote to Just Brakes Corporate office over two months ago, as well as a social media message posted on the companies web site. I did not receive a response from any. Long story short...Just Brakes does not have the best reputation in the car service industry. However, I heard some good things about location #0153. I live in a large community just north of that location. So, I took my car in for service on 10/15/14. It was not a good experience from a service standpoint, or a customer service standpoint. I was overcharged due to Just Brakes set "bundle" packages, "shop fees", and over zealous technicians who made a simple brake repair into a major brake system overhaul. But, what really is very disappointing is when I voiced my concern at the location, the person on the phone was a new hire left alone and untrained to resolve any issues, let alone mine. However, one of Just Brakes area managers just happened to be visiting. Good for me right? Wrong! This representative of your company treated me as if I was a telemarketer. I was a paying customer who just spent over $500.00 in repair cost, and just wanted an explanation. "Sam" rushed me off the phone with a token resolution of "I will send you a check for the overcharge". He closed the conversation with "I'm very busy, and don't have time to talk with you. You should receive the check within 4 weeks". Wow! what great customer service skills. And, by the way, I have not received the check as of January 16, 2015. Bottom-line, your reputation is alive and doing well. It appears your organization is doing nothing to change your negative reputation and appearance to customers. That is very visible by your non response to customer issues and concerns, and the way your employees, and field management treats customers. I'm very surprised of how you stay in a service based business. As I stated previously, I live in a very large community just north of your #0153 location. Our community has a web site that residents can place recommendations for local services and businesses. That is where I heard good things about the #0153 location. I will be posting this message to the site with my recommendation of do not do business with Just Brakes #0153. Again, I'm not sure who will receive this message; however, I will not be surprised if it's treated the same as my phone call, my letter, and the service I received.

We took our car for routine rear brakes on 12-15-14. The technician damaged our car (didn't know what he was doing and didn't have correct equipment per manager). It eventually was sent to the dealer to repair several damaged parts, and we just got it back today, 1-9-15. We were without our car for weeks. Communication through all of this was nonexistent. The manager says he hasn't been able to get ahold of 'corporate office' in all this time to discuss a refund. And it all started with routine brake work! Please beware of this place.

I walked in to get brake pads for the 29.99 they advertised and walked out paying 149.00, my brake had to be changed and I didn't want to risk being on the road so I really had no choice but to pay they 149. But in addition to this I needed new routers to by which they said they would sell em for $115. Each not including installation. I decided to wait, a month later I go to just brakes near my house in Mansfield when my brake caliper broke and those guys said it would be $95 per router. Though I don't ask them about it. But te caliper would of been $350 each, no I didn't let them them touch my truck. Instead I went to a mechanic in Arlington who did it for $100.

I waited again till my friend could help me change em, which I got each router for $30. But back to the brakes. I just called Just Brakes in Bedford to see if they would change the brakes they gave me since they were on warranty and he said it would cost another $149... Really???? Looks like I'll be changing those myself to. If are able to do the work yourself do your self a favor either do it yourself or find a mechanic. Theres still some good people in the world. But bedfor just brakes is straight crooked. Don't get robbed

I wil make this short and sweet. my brakes were getting soft but no brake lights came on. I went to just brakes. I was told both rear slynoids needed to be replaced. I completed the repair left the shop seven miles later my brakes went to the floor all indicator light came on and I went through a red light intersection. One hour later I had my master brake cyinder replaced and was told if the brake light came on and went off it just needed to have the fluid topped off. One week later brake light on back to Just Brakes. I was told nothing was wrong and asked if I had full insurance . I was then told that brake system may have been contanimated but my insurance would cover this and the manager Dave would file the claim. My Dodge Durango has less then one hundred thousand miles, I respectfully declined. I was told to drive it a few days and bring it back if the lights came back on. Two week later I almost did not avoid an accident while coming of the Florida Turn pike. Too make this short as I can an claim was filed I told the adjusted the whole story. Nod produced my work receipts. Dave the matcha nice told my adjuster he had never seen me before could not bring me up in the computer and provided my adjusted with a repair estimate of almost $3000.00 including parts that had been replaced two week earlier. Outraged I contacted Dave he told me to just say I brought it in basically just lie!!! I have called corporate offices three times only Dave called me back to say he could not believe I would call corporate. My claim is of couse denied I have no vehicle I cant get an answer on who will fix this. The only estimate I have is from the insurance adjuster clearly stating 95% ContanimTion with power stering fluid. Seeking a class action suit I need an attorney hopeless and stranded. Happy holidays to Dave. Mine are ruined

I tried to call the 1-855-5-WeDoCare, however this phone number is much longer than coded for the United States, or they would have heard an ear full from me. Today I visited Store #0710 located at 140 N. Stephanie St, Henderson, NV 89012

This being my second visit to a Just Brakes branch, I was hoping that I would be able to have my faith restored in your establishments, but with this experience, I am sorry to say that I will be looking elsewhere for my brake needs.

I looked online on Saturday, July 5 to confirm your $99.88 4-Wheel special, which I have used in the past. On this date, it was available. I then called and spoke to Chris at store #0710 to make an appointment for both of my household vehicles.

I arrived today to have both serviced only to be told by Jerry, our Service Manager that the $99.88 special was per wheel, and not for all four anymore. When I asked why the drastic change when it was advertised on the radio, but also found online, why he couldn't honor it. I got no answer on why, but just a continuous repetitive statement of what needed to be fixed and the overall cost to fix it.

When inspecting my vehicle, he had stated that the back rotor was damaged. This a surprise as on my last visit to Just Brakes, not only did I replace all rotors, brakes and shocks, so if it was damaged, I'm unsure on how that would be possible unless it was installed incorrectly, which is a great possibility as I had to take back my car to the Just Brakes located off of Boulder Highway and Russel Rd in Las Vegas 3 times before my problem was fixed. So as you can tell, I wasn't exactly happy in hearing that in only a year and a half later, they needed to be replaced, and this being stated by the same company. This makes me either question your parts, or question your service managers.

When discussing the work needing to be done to both Vehicles, I explained to Jerry that I only had a budget of $300 to fix both cars and asked him what he could do. He completely ignored the fact that I had stated "both cars" and proceeded to tell me what he could do for my husbands truck.

Due to my husband needing brakes on his vehicle, I agreed to having his brakes replaced. This itself costing $300!! I asked Jerry if I could see the itemized billing. He was less that happy to show it to me and when I started asking about the charges, he got frustrated and just blurted out that all I was paying for was labor.

On any itemized charges or invoice, you will see the actual cost of each item, and then the discounts placed to get to your final balance. This not being practiced then in turn makes me wonder if your Service Managers are processing paperwork correctly to ensure proper accounting. Due to the invoice I received, your 1 mechanic that worked on my husband's truck made $250.00 for the one hour he worked on it. I wish I could work for you guys!!! Man that would be great pay!

I will be more than happy to scan and email the invoice to you to see what I am talking about.

I am so upset about the fact that pricing was changed even though it is still advertised on the radio in the Las Vegas Market. I'm upset that the Service Manager Chris that I originally spoke with was not at the location when he specifically told me to ask for him after making my appointment, and I am extremely horrified and upset at how I was treated by Jerry today.

I will never EVER come into another branch of Just Brakes, and I will be sure to post my experiences everywhere I can in reviews and social media.

You as a company should make things right, not only by training your staff on to properly process an invoice, but to be able to handle a customer's questions without getting "huffy" at the questions they are asking when they are on a budget and pricing is changed as soon as they walk through the door.

Just Brakes has been more than "Just Disappointing.

On 2/07/14, Just Brakes completed a rear brake service and changed out the fluids in the steering, coolant and brake systems on my sons F150 truck. At that time, they infomed me that the front end was so damanged that if we did not replace it the whole front end might fall off while driving. My son, who was turning 18 and entering the Marines 3 days after graduation, wanted nothing more than to take his truck up to our cabin in Georgia and go mudding with his best friend. So, being a good dad, I wanted to make his truck as safe as possible. We had the front end replaced on 4/27/14 and a coil replaced in the engine on 4/30/14. I replaced all the tires and purchased a new rim for the spare tire. (Note, the tires were not purchased at Just Brakes.) At 8 PM on 5/01/14 we left for the cabin. At 2 AM outside of Macon we exited Hwy. 75 to fill up the vehicals for the last segment of the trip. As my son was pulling into the gas station, the right front wheel seperates from the truck along with part of the front end assembly. At 7:30 AM we have the truck transported to the Macon Ford dealership. They tell me 3 things: 1) The right front end was not attached properly and was missing one of the main nuts that held the assembly in place. 2) There was no grease boot on the left front side. The grease boot retains the grease in the assembly and without it the grease is quickly lost and the assembly will be damanaged. 3) The Steering rod was barely attached to the steering assembly. If the nut came off, you would lose total control from your steering. I left Macon at 5:30 PM and drove to our cabin. It became immediately apparent that the motor was struggling, so I took the truck Monday morning to the Ford dealership near the cabin. They ran diagnostics on the motor and found that the chamber which had the coil replaced on 4/30/14 was nonfunctional. Normal PSI is 125-150. This chamber had 2 PSI and an interior perforation. They told me that fuel is directed to each chamber where it is fired to drive the pistons. In this case, the fuel is just collecting in the chamber. At any time, when the motor heats up, this trapped fuel could ignite and either catch on fire or explode. This company worked on several things and in the end almost killed my son and his best friend in 3 different ways. This is beyond incompetence. This is negligence.

I went into the Just Brakes shop because my brakes were pulsating & I had my brakes done there 3 years ago and wanted to see if it was still under warranty. I made the appointment on the Just Brakes corp website and it was confirmed. When I showed up the Manager (Tim) already had my information on the computer and told me that I would have to have my rotors placed without even looking at the car. I asked him how he came to this conclusion and he showed me that my rotors were documented from my last visit 3 years ago. The shop then pulled my car in at this point and lifted the car. He then called me out and showed me that my left front Hub-bearing was bad and needed replacing. He then stated that they would have to replace both fronts as it was a requirement. THe manager (Tim) then walked me back into the lobby and showed me on the screen the price of the hub-bearings (it varied from 130. 00 - 300.00 ea. He then overrode the labor fee and increased it saying that the amount went up but wasn't reflected on the computer yet. We then walked outside without me still getting a written estimate and they started taking my front wheel parts off. The brake and rotor was removed and the left front hub bearing was off before the parts were delivered from parts store. I'm not sure what type bearing was selected and all worked began and I still never received a written estimate (and never did receive a wrtitten estimate). At this point I still didn't know if any work they were doing was under warranty. The Tech working on my car appeared a little confused and acted like he didn't know how to take off the passanger hub-bearing (the manager removed the left front hub).

After awhile and struggeling the tech couldn't remove the hub-bearing so the manager came over to help. The manager went a got a sledge hammer after several attempts to remove the bearing. He hammered the hub bearing along with the axle and CV joint several times and still not loose. I then spoke up and asked if all the bolts had been removed. The manager looked over all areas and then said something to the tech but I couldn't hear. THe tech then picked up the impact wrench and appeard to remove a bolt from the inside area close to the cv rubber boot...the hub-bearing came off.

Also the tech installed the rotor and caliper without putting the rotor shield on, thus had to remove all parts. He then installed the rotor shield backwards and didn't realize until he tried to put the rotor on. It is clear the tech and management was not properly trained to perform the wheel hub assembly replacement and the tech wasn't properly supervised to ensure proper install. The tech also used the air gun to overtighten the hub bearings and wasn't aware he needed to properly torque the main bolt until Tim had asked him if he used the torque wrench. The tech then went through the steps to torque but of course the wrench indicated it was over ftlb recommendation but did nothing and completed the reinstall of my tires. I also noticed the next day that my brakes still had a slight pulsating to them and after insoection by a different mechanic they said my rear rotors has grooves and that the pads could be wearing into these grooves causing the problem.

I took my truck to Just Brakes 01/13/14 to have my front brakes done. I had a small knock in my engine they said was my lifters. They then quoted me a price to have my brakes, rotars, shocks, struts and lifters done. They said it would be done by the end of that day. They said that I should have both sides of the lifters done because it was usually best to do them at the same time to save money..So I agreed. They called me at the end of the night to say they forgot to put a ""fly wheel"" back on so I would have to come back to get it in the morning and asked if I would come settle the bill that night.. I went and paid 4062.00 ... I got a call in the morning to tell me the truck would not be ready that day. The next day I was told to pick up my truck that is was complete. I got there and got into my truck , started it and it tried to stall. At first I thought it was because of the work because they told me to take it easy for the first few 100 miles.I drove down the street and the truck stalled. It took me a few tries to get it started and I took the truck back. They said they would have it fixed the next day...that is where it all went down hill.

After 3 weeks of waiting for them to fix it. They called me to tell me they would drop it off at my work and pick up my rental car.. They came to my job and said to just watch it for any ""leaks"" and if any problems give them a call. As soon as they drove off I noticed it leaking where the steering pump would be. When I got off work I got into my truck and started to drive. It was sputtering and trying to die. It stalled several times before I got home. I called them to tell them it was leaking and stalling. SO AGAIN I took it back in and was told the power steering pump needed to be replaced...funny I thought because it was supposed to be in my original quote. But I was told that since he should have ""caught"" it while working on it , he would put a new pump in at no charge to me. After another week I went to pick it up again and it still ran with a rough idle like it wanted to stall...

They assured me it was ok.. So I took a small trip about 75 miles and it was making a loud sound. Come to find out it was a vaccum leak and intake gasket leak.

By this time it had been back and forth for almost 3 months, We called Just Brakes and was told by one of the ""head"" people to take it to a different shop where we were told they always fix all the mess ups. I took it to them where they had it a couple days calling me to tell me it was ready. As soon as I got in it I knew it was still the same problem from the original shop. I was told that it seemed ok by that mechanic but to drive it some more to see if it gets better...By the next day it was just as bad and I took it to Ford to have it diagnosed.

Ford had found that the intake had been removed and then put back and siliconed back on. Just Brakes was notified and they agreed to pay Ford to fix remove the silicone and what damage they could find .

After a week I got it back from Ford only to find the problem still existed. Called Just Brakes back and they agreed to have Ford go into the motor to find where it was damaged. Just Brakes had never let Ford know what they did as far as damage or work , so Ford had no idea what they were looking for. After getting into the motor Ford had told Just Brakes it would cost the same for a new motor then it would to tear down what Just Brakes had damaged to find the problem. We were then told by Just Brakes and Ford that Just Brakes would pay for a new motor.

Now we find out after over 4months of rental cars (Just Brakes has reimbursed me for) that Just Brakes insurance company refused the claim because of some recall . The truck never had a problem running until Just Brakes went in to ""replace"" my lifters...then doing continual damage that they admitted to doing and couldnt figure out how to fix what was done.

I have been in rental cars since January of 2014 , in which Just Brakes accepted responsibility and has paid for. Just Brakes knows they did the damage to my motor and now are using the insurance company to back out of what they did. I have contacted several attorney's and now that Just Brakes accepted the liability to the damage and is now backing out...They are smooth talkers and can talk you into a bunch of work you dont need, admit to damaging your vehicle and then back out of their responsibility to make it right.
