The United States Government, the Embassay of India, and the Consulate General of India in the United States as well as Europe and Canada are requesting that United States citizens, European citizens, and Canada citiens to avoid ordering from any online hair seller from India due to the scam known as 418. This scam involves supposed hair companies who have false websites and disposable phone numbers who place their ads on Trade India, Alibaba, and AliExpress to claim to have human hair to supply to consumers. They request that payment be made via MoneyGram, Western Union, or Bank Wire Transfer with no intention od sending the goods after they receive your money. Consumers are urged to not purchase from any hair supplier in this region unless the supplier accepts major credit cards. The scam is as follows: Suppliers such as Kasthuri Enterprises claim to have hair products and sends pictures via email and to their website to validate that they are a legitimate company. They request that potential buyers send the money via MoneyGram, WesternUnion, or Bank Wire Transfer. They claim they will send a tracking number after they receive the money. Once they receive confirmation of either MoneyGram or WesternUnion reference number and/or Bank Wire Transfer, you will never hear from these suppliers again. This is similiar to the Nigerian 419 Scam that the United States Government has shut down after sending in decoys and shutting these rouges and criminals down. There is currently an open investigation. The investigation attributed the fraud to “the pursuit of short-term financial gain at all cost”.

MoneyGram and WesternUnion have agreed to step up their anti-fraud programs. Nevertheless, scammers continue to add new twists to old schemes and pressure people into sending money. Using a money transfer service is like sending cash — once you send the money, it’s nearly impossible to trace it or get it back. Do not order from any hair company from the aforementioned website unless they take major credit cards, that way if you do not get your product back, the credit card company will refund you your money and go after these criminals

We have already shut down a company called RajKing International. They are attempting to resurface but the Indian Government has the major frauster in police custody awaiting trail.
