I contacted this company to buy a used smart key for my 2007 Jaguar XK. They assured me that this was the correct key. It looked just like my original and the FCC ID matched up. I was told when I received the key I should bring it to a locksmith and they would be able to program it for my car. I spent several weeks, on and off, looking for a locksmith that could do this. They all told me that this type of key, unless it was new and never programmed, that they could not do it. I was trying to avoid taking it to the Jag dealership because they were very expensive but finally contacted them. I was told that because this was a used smart key and the original programming had not been erased that it was worthless. The programming can't be erased unless the original car is present. When I contacted keylessremotes4u.com I was told by the woman that answered the phone that because the purchase was made just about 60 days previous to my call that they would not honor or entertain any refund or replacement. Basically she didn't care what had happened and when I tried to escalate the matter she told me there was no one else who would help me or listen to me. This is a very unprofessional company with unprofessional ownership and employees. They do not understand the products they sell and when faced with a customer service issue, which was created by them, they just take the money and run. If you're going to deal with company - buyer beware. I think they are crooks.
