Paid $15 for application fee to adopt a lab after selecting a lab immediately received an email telling my wife and I we are unfit to adopt since we work and don't have a fence. If this was major concerns to the pet why not add this into the dogs needs in the description?? Never even received a phone call or explanation. Took my $15 thou only to receive a quick denial. They are a disgrace to pet adoption! If they had the decency to actually reach out to us they would discover that I work for a company know worldwide in the pet world that allows their employees to bring their dogs to work after an evaluation. Secondly why a fence my backyard is woods and cranberry bogs couldn't be anymore dog friendly. We do have a long lead in our rather large backyard. Shame on you Laura McConnell and Ann H you seem to be more interested in collecting your fees than actually placing labs into good homes! Please do an Internet search before dealing with these crooks! I will go back to getting another dog from a breeder less aggrivation!

I experienced almost the same as the couple from June 12, 2015. I paid the $15 application fee and inquired about 2 different dogs, 1 which is fostered in CT and the other in AL. I did receive email correspondence from both Jennifer W. for CT dog and Shana L. for AL dog. I passed the vet check and finally received a call from Jennifer W. on 8/15/15 for an interview about CT dog. I was turned down because my yard is not fenced although I have a large fenced in area with it's own 8X12 shed with a covered porch. I wonder if they really have the dogs they advertise.
