I got a quote from the company last minute movers and used them to move some of my belongings from brampton to vaughan. first they showed up 15 minutes late and demanded i pay them $150.00 deposit before they moved anything. I gave them the $150 and they moved my things from the 14th floor of the building to the lobby before they would put anything on the truck they then demanded another $20 and said this was for tax. I was explained the rate included taxes by the owner of the company. I gave them the money because by then everything was in the lobby and what was I going to do. After everything was loaded one of the workers told me if i had a problem to call the owner so I did. He in turn told me he had my stuff so he could do what he wanted and asked me if i wanted it dumped on the side of the road if i didnt want to pay what he said. he then said a few choice word which i cannot write online and hung up the phone telling me never to call back again.
On the way to my new address the truck was following me then decided it was time for a coffee break. I asked them what were they doing I had already paid a total of $170.00 and time was running out because the guys had loaded the truck so slow I was helping them to get it done faster. Oh might I ad that when they loaded the truck it was not done properly and all my belongings were breaking on the drive. He told me he wouldnt work until he had his coffee. We got to my new place and I at this point on the drive over called one pf my guy friends because I knew this was going to be trouble. I'm just a female that lives alone. About 10 minutes later he showed up and basically told the guys how to do there job while we were still moving my things because they were moving at a snails pace. the majority of my belongings got broken and I was completley direspected and taken advantage of by this company and will probally never hire movers again because this was such a negative experience
