Lexington Law Reviews

I know their are past Class Action suits against Lexington Law. Is there a current one or can I get one started?

They extend the time it takes to dispute a credit report claim so they can make more money off a client.

On different occasions... they have made commitments to take certain items out of "queue" and challenge the claim, that day, in a week, by the end of a month yet that did not happened.

Delaying a challenge cost me an additional $99 each month and they are expert in the delay tactics to continue to take money from a client.

I ask on several occasions to either "challenge" a claim or cancel my account. They did not do the challenge and still are charging my account.

I finally ask them to immediately cancel my account, send me a detailed final statement and copies of the dispute letters they have sent out on my behalf. Although they said in emails they would send me the dispute letters, I have NOT received any.

I told them that they were no longer authorized to take money out of my bank account and I would immediately send them a PAID in FULL check or by PayPal once I received a reasonable detailed final bill and the copies of the dispute letters. They said they would send me the copies of the "dispute letters" however I have not received any of the letters to the Credit Reporting Services.

On 5-24-2015 they (without authorization) took another bank draft in the amount of $99.95 against my demand not to do it. Even though I have told them a couple of months ago to cancel my service. I was still willing to pay the $99.95 before 5-24-15 by way of PayPal or check if they would send me a statement and the copies of the dispute letters. I don't believe I owe this amount since I have told them to cancel a couple of months back (email documented) but was still willing to pay to see the dispute letters and to firmly close this improper service.

They are now playing games by sending me a secured attachment by way of Cisco Secure Services claiming they are copies of the dispute letters, but the PDF attachment is corrupt and cannot be opened. I have a statement from CISCO tech support stating that Lexington Law did not send a readable document. Also, I am a programmer and have no problems opening legitimate attachments. There is no question in my mind they are doing this Intentionally. Also they have not sent a readable copy to date even though they have been notified of the problem.

There is no doubt in my mind that these people are taking fraudulent advantage of people who are trying to straighten out their credit issues. I have a feeling they are committing this wrongful act to thousands of people.

I just wanted to report how we were decieved by the Lexington Law Firm by presenting to us how easy it would be for them to have all of the errors that were showing up on our credit report. The presented a step by step solution process that according to the representative "in no time all of the errors in credit report would be all gone." Their wesite says that they have been around for the longes and that sure know what they are doing when it comes to credit reports. Well let me warn you that they have been around for the longest is probably true, because they are sure pros when it comes to delay tactics whenever we come up with a direct question or concer. They sure pretended to know the law very well but later on we found out that they know absolutely nothing on how to resolve our case, bercause they seem to have no idea what steps they were going to take next after any negative report appears on our credit report.

It has been one whole year and none of the errors that we have pointed out to them have been deleted from our personal credit reports. Then what really bothered me the most was when they tried to decieve us into thinking that they have done positive improvement on our credit report. When the fact of the matter is that it was I who was responsible for the positve changes that were showing up in our accounts.

You see when I realized that Lexington Law was not doing anything to improve our credit reports other than sending out notifications to us whenever there would be a change in our credit report. They had the audacity to claim that it was because of their actions that there was anything positive coming out of our credit report.

In reality all Lexington Law really did was tell us if there were positive or negative improvement in our account. Twelve whole months we paid them $99.95 twice each month. That is at least $2100.00that we have paid them. All that money for nothing. Because they just kept on draging their feet and blaiiming everything on the system. They keep on changing the team players that was working on our files, so we never get to talk to the same people that we have talked with in the past. No wonder every time we talk to them over the phone the person that we were talking to have no idea on what our case was about. So If I were you and the Lexington Law Firm personel were ever approach you. I would stay from these people. Remeber to keep your doors lock unless you want to be taken out for a ride by these so called Credit Repair professionals.

I signed up with them on Oct. 8. They sounded legitimate, even telling me that the other company I was trying to go through did it wrong. Ok cool. So I review the agreement, pay my money and think, awesome, I made the first step. Then things started getting weird. I have a credit karma account that I alway review. Credit karma alerts me that items have been removed from my credit on the 11th. It was about time for them to fall off anyway, and since I had barely signed up, I knew Lexington didn't do that. Then this month, November, I receive notices from them stating they had items removed from my credit. Ummmm....no, no, you didn't. Secondly, I receive a letter they had sent to one of my creditors that had been returned to incorrect mailing address. I open it, only to find out this whole time, they've been physically signing my name. In fact they aren't even spelling it correctly. My name is very distinct and it needs to be spelled correctly because it can be confused with many others. I contacted a woman named Lindsay through chat and asked her to send me verbatim where is states they can physically sign my name. She sends me the document, then when I tell her it doesn't give them permission anywhere to sign my name, she accuses me of not reading the full document. I'm an English major. I can read and process a short document like that in three minutes. It's not difficult. She attempts to tell me that giving them limited power of attorney means they can sign my name. No! No one is allowed to physically sign your name. They can sign their name in power of attorney, but not my name. I cancelled the service, which they did, but no response to the refund. So now begins the arduous process of disputing the charges and contacting an attorney regarding forgery. BEWARE!!! Unless you want a company who will send copy and paste letters to your creditors and sign your name for you, I'd steer clear.

My husband and I wanted to repair our credit. We were contacted by Lexington Law.

After an hour long conversation, we were told that we would receive a "couple discount" for the first month, then it would be $99.99 per month... At no time during our conversation with Scott or Marasol, were we told that this was for each account. They have took 3 payments of 49.99 out of my bank as of today.

I called and cancelled, and when I asked them to reimburse me I was told "no, that was for the work already done on your accounts"........

RIP OFF, do not let this company swindle you. I have filed a dispute with Paypal, luckily I had it paid out of that account, as they do protect you .

I may not get anything back, other than knowing I may help someone else.

This Company did do the work. they got a few things off my credit.. but they mosty just get things off of transunion.. not for equifax and experian. Most people check equifax or experian. The only thing they do is dispute charges. THAT IS ALL... Nothing more nothing Less.

They do not have customer service. I was told that If I wanted to Cancel, I could at any time.. so when I called to cancel because it was no longer in my budget, they told me their computer was updating to call back in 1 hour. I called back and they tell me the same thing.. I called back and they told me the same thing. and that it would take 3 business days to cancel. now i have to go take my money out the bank so that i wont be charged.

They use false advertising... "Rent to own homes"... when I called they said oh by the way do you know your credit score?

I canceled in less then 45 days.....BUT I WAS CHARGED 3 PAYMENTS!!!! and never have i seen such unethical morons...at any rate...ive posted my complaint on 16 websites...5 state and federal agencies..and 1 law enforcement division...plus a stop payment at the bank. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER!!! ...... buyer beware !!!!

Lexington Law Firm was referred to me by a financial lender. Initially it sounded authentic and genuine. As a single mother who finally escaped a domestic violence situation I knew my credit needed repair. They charged me $12.99 and then $99.00 every month therafter (if i chose to continue). Within the first few months I saw six items removed but ONLY two credit reports. They claimed my equifax could not be obtained EVEN after I downloaded it and emailed it to them. Upon trying to purchase a house they decided to send out dispute letters.

Anyone buying a home knows you cannot get a clear mortgage with a dispute on your credit, when I confronted Lexington Law Firm they claim they did not know I wass buying a house, even though that was the whole purpose for signing up to clena my credit.

Once I discontinued service they locked me out of my account and stated if I wanted the letters of the six deletions I would have to reactivate my account at $99.00 Although I already paid for the service.
