I have a handicap and need assistance with my social security by having a trusted person manage my money. They call this a "Payee". Rocio Robledo, with the Lighthouse Community Church in Elgin acted as my "payee" and took 10% of my Social Security check for the church without my knowledge or approval, causing me not to afford my medications, one which is for blood pressure. In addition, she has stated I do not need a cell phone and cable tv and stated she will not pay for those items with my Social Security.
Today I have contacted the social security office for assistance and am working on getting a new payee. They have stated that she has broken the law and if it is not returned, the will assist in making a report.
