OUR WEBSITE SENDS YOU TO X RATED SITES

THEY PREPARED OUR SITE AND NOW WHEN YOU GO TO OUR WEBSITE AND PRESS ON A LINK, IT TAKES YOU TO AN X RATED SITE. THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT, BUT SAY IF WE PAY THEM $45.00 THEY'LL TRY TO FIX IT ON OUR END. THIS COMPANY SUCKS, WE'VE ASKED THEM TO TAKE OUR SITE DOWN SEVERAL TIMES BUT ITS STILL UP. THERE IS NO TALKING TO THE OWNER OR MANAGER BECAUSE THEY ARE NEVER THERE.

STAY AWAY!!!

I almost feel like this should be a public service announcement. This company is a scam. STAY AWAY!!!! They try to trick you into paying for a canned website upfront and then ask you to sign terms and conditions. And if you don't agree to the terms and want to back out they make it very difficult to get your money back. Fast talking sales people. There are many decent web building companies out there. Do yourself a favor and work with a company with integrity.

This place will also hold your domain page, email account, etc hostage until you pay all the bogus charges as ransom.

Don't be scammed. AVOID. WALK AWAY.

I have to disagree

they built my website and they take care of all my social media stuff! I love what these guys have done for my business! so sorry you had a bad experience but they are an awesome company and maybe you should speak to a manager over there they would correct the problem I promise! my website is cbautobody.com so you don't think I work for them. It's not free but you wont get the qualty from a free web builder.

Dating Site Issues

Thank you for allowing us to address the above mentioned issue.

We do take these treats very seriously and took the proper steps to resolve this issue for you. Your site was taken down and the server was wiped clean and the appropriate security updates were implemented. We are still happy to scan your computer to make sure there are no issues on your end as well. We've had in the past numerous clients were the issue was on their end due to websites they have visited that automatically drop cookies or malware resulting in pop up adds and browser highjacking. We offer a clean up service which is billable at $45/hr for these instances.

Over the last two weeks, four of our 6000 active clients alerted us that while going to the website and browsing, that they were forwarded to dating sites. Every time a client reported the same symptoms, we thoroughly scanned the server with the latest software for detection of malware but nothing was ever found.

We also contacted CPanel, the company who develops the software used in servers worldwide about this issue. Level 1 support scanned the server and found nothing, neither did Level 2 or Level 3.

You will find below some of the internal emails from our Senior Tech:

"I just wanted to let you all know what has happened to the server since the last update

Here is the list of steps taken:

• Full server scan with the most up to date list of known viruses, nothing was found.

• Scanned the server with a rootkit finder, nothing found.

• Manually checked files on a website which the client reported issues with, nothing found.

• Did a server scan at the network level, nothing found.

• Submitted a ticket to CPanel (Company who created the software used in the server to manage accounts).

o Level 1 – Scanned server, nothing found – I explained the situation with the forwards to sites like “Adult Friend Finder”, escalated to Level 2.

o Level 2 – Scanned server, nothing found – Once again I insisted there had to be something else because we still had client complaints, escalated to Level 3.

o Level 3 – Scanned server and wrote:

 “Based upon the information you submitted in your recent technical support ticket, we believe -- but cannot be sure -- that your incident is a server security related incident.”

As of now, we have not found anything that proves or gives any sort of hint to a server attack. CPanel Level 3 found that this has to be a security related issue based on what I told them, but nothing turned up after their server check.

Because we had 4 unrelated clients reporting the same issue and to be proactive in our efforts to contain viruses which might cause future data loss, I will be doing a full server wipe and will restore all scanned accounts to a fully reinstalled copy of the operating system.

All account files will be scanned before being put back in the new server. All this will be done tonight starting at 12AM Eastern Time and should be done by morning."

On Friday, we received another complaint about the same issue. In a proactive manner, to avoid propagation of such problem and though nothing was ever found, LinkNow Media staff decided that the safest solution would be to wipe the server clean and restore all accounts one at a time while scanning each of them individually for compromised files.

The process began and the last accounts were restored early this morning. If you require additional information, please contact Customer Care for assistance at 1-888-667-7186.

Linknow media is a Web building company that offed to build me a website the sales men Frank gave me a price of $299 and told me I needed a credit card. he told me that my card would not be charged until I agreed-ed on a website and I had to sign there terms and condition. The next day they ran my card and put the money in there bank. I stared looking on line for any reviews and all I could find was Negative reviews they tried to get me to sign there Terms and Condition forms but I would not sign it. I was not comfortable with the company and I never received anything from them. I have asked for my money back and now the want to charge me $50.00 and they want me to sign a paper saying they gave me a check and in the form they want me to sign it says I cant contact my bank to dispute this charge to my bank without my consent. I have not bought anything from them nor have I signed anything stating that I give them permission to charge my Acct. There for I would like all my money that belongs to me back

My bank told me they have tried 4 attempts to withdrawal from my acct and we have closed that acct to avoid any more money taken out of my acct with out my consent. This is FRAUD we they tried to sell me the website they called every day now that there is a problem the refuse to issue me what is rightfully mine can you please help.

Beware of robocallers

Caller ID shows "Linknow Media" with telephone number 209-459-5277. Unsolicited phone call, no message left. The decent part of me wants to think I was called by mistake. The experienced part of me has dealt with unscrupulous "website designers" in the past. If what they are pitching is legitimate, then why not leave a message?
