I rented a storage unit from long buildings in 2011. My unemployment ran out in 2012 and I became a few months behind. I got hurt in a car accident and was unable to work anymore, I got approved for my disability in 04/2013. I paid them $300 from the period threw 11/2012-04/2013. All they did was give me the run around.
They came the first time around 12/2013 to take it back after I paid them $150 in 09/2013. Its pretty sad when they treat people like this when you try to make good and get caught up on the past due months, they alerted me with backing up sounds & I was able to prevent them from taking it the first time, now today 01/08/2013 they got it they didn't come in the truck with the backing up sounds to alert me they was out side. It wasn't until I heard them down my driveway and they already got it in the street. These are pretty sneaky deceitful pigs that did this to me.
They also have stolen my belongings that was inside the storage shed. It was dirty with what they did to me & I will never do business with them again, I traded my old shed to get this new one so I don't have a storage shed. I paid them a lot money since 07/2011. I really don't care about anything anymore, I'm just fed up with being abused by these rent to own people and how they destroyed my property and refused to give me my things back. I had a riding lawn mower and lots of tools and house hold items in my shed, with my riding lawn mower being the most thing I odor & now they have it. Pigs!.
I'm without a storage shed and they embarassed me in front of my neighbors. These rent-to-own are a bunch of "SCAMS". It was kind of rotten for them to come around Christmas time and take all my Christmas money and food money it was also insulting to me with what they did. Well I do have a lawyer working on this.
