Lunar Sleep Reviews

  • Jun 5, 2015

I received an offer to buy a bottle of the sleep aid, "Lunar Sleep". I read the information carefully. It was a no risk offer, with no obligation to buy any more. I just received a second, unsolicited bottle. There is no information for how to contact the company to be able to complain or to cancel. I do not want to continue to receive this product and I do not want my credit card charged.

This is one of the worst ripoffs I've ever seen. They are charging me almost $2,000.00 a year for relaxtion medications that are totally ineffective and worthless.

Do not get sucked in on this clever enticement to separate you from your money.

I got an email inviting me to try this "all natural" sleep. I was in the midst of a terrible attack of bronchitis and kept waking up all night with coughing fits. I thought if I could only get a good night's sleep I'd have a better chance of getting better.

They offer a 30-day supply for $1.95 on a 14 day trial. Sounded good so I thought I'd give ita try. As soon as I ordered it online, there poppe up page offering a bottle of Chamomile Comfort," whih they promised would "reduce stress," and "promote relaxation" with this "all natural calming blend."

Instead it turns out that increased stress ten times over and ruined a day of my relaxation when a harge for $79.

97 appeared on my credit card 10 days later.

Worse yet, when I called them I found out for the first time it was going to be $79.97 every month from now until eternity. And they claimed my 14 days were up because they count from the minute you order -- not from the day you receive yet. In other words, your 14 day trial is running while they proess your order, pack it up and the mailman delivers it! So your 14 days is over in about 8-10 days, depending on how fast the US mail works in your area.

Not only that -- the same billing would occur with Lunar Sleep.

I tried both products -- neither one of them produced as good results as a Tylenol capsule. Garbage. Worthless. Crap.

I asked my doctor about these on my last visit to him for the brocnhitis and he told me to stop taking both immediately. They could be poison, he told me. there's no guarantee of what garbage and impurities they put into those capsules and especially if you're taking any other medications, you should never ingest any secret recipes like they're peddling.

Needless to say when I called, the young woman I spoke with copped real attitude along the lines of, "Your 14 days are up and if you would have called we would have cancelled it, but you didn't so tough s*** buddy."

I'm learning a lesson here -- it will cost me $164 for two bottles of garbage I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy -- so I'm just trying to warn others to avoid making the same mistake. If I can't get them to cancel the rest of the so-called order it will be $80 a month for each b***s*** product or $960 a year.

Buyer Beware of this slick ccn job! Don't say you weren't warned!

As a "reward" for pariticipating in an AT&T quality survey I received offers for samples or discounts on several products one of which was Lunar Sleep. As I am bothered by insomnia, I used my credit card to cover the $4.95 shipping charge. I received the sample (which is basically Melantonin) within a few days. Today I received a call from my credit card fraud department asking about and $85 charge from Lunar Sleep. As it turns out this is actually a subscription if you fail to cancel within 14 days of placing your trial order you are immediately billed $85 for the first order and $85 a month until you due cancel. I admit that I didn't read the fine print of the offer. However, the intent her is fraudulent and others may not have a credit card company as diligent as mine. Once bitten, twice shy.

I was suppose to receive a free bottle of all natural sleep aid for taking a survey for Comcast. I was to only pay shipping cost of 1.95 which was charged to my debit card. 4 days later they charged me 84.99 for 30 pills. I contacted my bank and changed my account. They told me to try to contact them and have them refund the 84.99 to my account. They claimed I agreed to this when I requested this trial sample.I told them I did not request a trial sample that this was a gift for taking the survey for Comcast. They said they could only refund half of the amount because I have already received the product. If I do not receive a refund in 5 days I am having my banks fraud division pursue this.

When I called an ordered the product. They said it would cost $1.95 and that I would have 30 days to cancel the order. Well, I learned through my bank account that between both firms, they charged my account 190.00 for these 2 little bottles.

When I called to cancel the order and demand a refund. They stated that there was only a 14 day cancellation and then they would charge the full amount. 1 cost 78.00 thru Lunar Sleep and the other $85.00 thru Chamomile Comfort -- operating as the same company with different names.

The Rep told me basically that it was my problem and that they would not refund the monies but that I could cancel the order from this point on.

I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and also AARP, as they have taken advantage of a Senior Citizen with their mis-information during ordering. The original Rep stated there was a 30 day cancellation and now they are stating a 14 day cancellation.

Do Not Deal with these Companies as they are Rip-Offs and Shister's.

After visiting my local Walgreens store I was asked to fill out a online survey about customer satisfaction. I went online and after I filled out the survey it asked me to claim my free gift. I chose lunar sleep aid. After choosing the gift. They requested that I pay $1.95 for shipping and handling.Fifteen days later I had a charge for 84.99 on my credit card.

I called the company the told me I signed up for recurring shipment and I agreed to a 14 day free trial and the bottle they sent me had 30 pills in it. I asked them to cancel and refund my money and they told me they could not that I agreed to the terms and conditions.

I have filed a case with my bank, but this is clearly a scam. I have contacted Walgreens to let them know what is happening with thier survey as well.

I want lunar sleep to refund the money to my credit card. I tried to reason with the 2 different people I spoke with but to no avail. Both were very rude and when I ask to speak to a supervisor they refused and stated I deal with them or they would dissconnect me.

Lunar Sleep advertised on the internet only $1.95 for shipping. After receiving it I was again billed $84.99 for a months supply. Called the customer by phone 877 824-6691 and they replied I was billed $84.99 because I did not call them before 14 days trial period, which I was not told earlier.

I answered a customer service survey for a website. The survey promised I could choose a free gift from a list of products. I chose Lunar Sleep and I was sent a free sample to try. I used the product and it did not work. Two weeks later I was reviewing my bank account and found an $84 charge from Luna Sleep. I called the phone number attached to the charge, and told them I didn't authorized this charge and I wanted my money back, but they refused. Their claim was I have agreed to a 14 day trial and if I didn't call them to cancel within 14 days they could charge me $84 monthly for each new order of Lunar Sleep. More disturbing, is I did not give Lunar Sleep my bank card number yet they were able to charge my account. I now have to change my band account numbers. This company is a fraud. DO NOT PURCHASE LUNAR SLEEP. I have learned that Lunar Sleep is nothing more than melatonin.

I answered questions on a survey. I was then offered various products at discounted prices. I bought LUNAR SLEEP for $1.95. They took the $1.95 on 1/17/2015 then took $84.99 on 2/6/2015 then took $84.99 on 3/8/2015 then took $84.99 on 4/8/2015 totalling $256.92. I received 3 bottles of LUNAR SLEEP but I only purchased 1 bottle for $1.95. When I realized what was going on I called them and they said they could only refund me if I sent back the un-opened bottles first, then will refund me and are going to charge me $8.95 re-stocking fee. I only have 1 un-opened bottle to send them. I was ripped off, scammed, lie too what ever you want to call it. I thought I was buying 1 bottle of LUNAR SLEEP for $1.95.

This company entices you with $1.89 sample bottle. If you forget to call within 14 days they start charging $85 a month automatically. The drug does not work as they describe it. It's useless. I'm returning the bottle and there is a $8 restocking fee and a $1.49 cancellation fee. They're just out to rip people off!

I am 70 years old. a heart patient. I have requested being taken off follow up charges and shipments. I have received a number from Lunar Sleep to confirm cancellation It is 15420424. ZTheir phone number is (877)824-6691.

Do not buy this product. It is a ripoff and if you do not send the product back in 14 days, you get charged 84 dollars. As well you are not notified of the charge so they hope you will not notice.

  • Nov 10, 2014

The company is a giant scam. They charge you 85 per month, as you are on auto pay from the start. They try to get you to pay additional fees to return the product as well. They refuse to release the name of the Supervisor, Customer Complaint Department Supervisor, President or CEO of the company. They refused to issue a refund on the product they iniitially sent which was supposed to be "free." Customer service is not helpful at all!! Probably because they get a million calls from people complaining about the crap they are selling for a fortune!!

  • Jul 9, 2014

The trial orider is very misleading. Unless you cancel within 14 days (very fine print) you are charge full price for a bottle of over priced melatonin. This is a complete ripoff. Emailed customer service and no satiisfaction was received.

Beaware if you order this trial subscription.

I will try again to get a refund.

Well you really have to search to find out how much Lunar Sleep costs. it is not just $4.95 Not one statement comes with the bottle, what a surprise when I tried to use my card and found out that instead of buying something I was in dire need of, I have been charged $84.99 a bottle for this stuff. What a rip-off. NO statement comes with the bottle and at $84.99 they should be able to afford a statement so you are not blindsiding your customers

  • May 5, 2014

As stated in previous review, Lunar Sleep also got me for almost $90.00. I am on a limited income with an 89 yr old husband with dementia, and thought that the few dollars for a sample of their product was worth a try. It was not even a good product, as after 3 hours I awoke and tried to go back to sleep. I contacted the company when billed an additional $84.97 and it was to no avail. Companies that want to be notified in 14 days, should send out a notification of client intent to show good faith in their product. I really felt scammed, as the fine print in the inital promo e-mail was truly meant to turn 0ff anyone from reading it. Buyer beware!

Lunar Sleep is a real rip off company. I ordered a free bottle to0 sameple and had to pay for the shipping with my credit card. Then they started sending me a bottle a month for a price of over $80 each bottle. When I called to complain, they told they could cut the price in half for me . . . but I'd have to continue ordering from them each month. We I hold them how unhappy I was about this, and felt if was a real rip-off, he said I would have to pay the full price for the extra bottle I was sent after the free sample bottle. The product worked, but no better than any over the counter sleep aid for about one-eighth the price. Stay away from these people. The outrageous price is not worth it. Buy your sleep aid at a local grocery story for extremely cheap comparatively and get just as good results, and stay away from these rip-off artists.

If you order Lunar Sleep, be aware that this product is just fancy melatonin capsules and will provide the exact same sleep you will get with melatonin but at around $50 for a 30-day supply vs $5 for the melatonin capsules.

Go ahead and try it out, buit be sure to read the fine print (if there is any), supposedly saying you must call to cancel in 14 days of ordering or you will be charged $46.74 for the 30-day trial. Then you will have to pay $9.99 for the return postage and $10 for a cancellation and restocking fee.
