Unauthorized Charges!! Fraudulent!! AND NO Ability to contact them by phone. Email Support Never Responded! I had a mailchimp account and was using their $75 per month plan for years. I uploaded some additional email addresses to my account and they told me the account had been upgraded without telling me how much more it would cost. Once I realized this would cost more, and was not told how much I wanted to delete the email contacts I had been uploaded. I was not able to delete any of the email addresses I had just uploaded, nor would they let me send out any emails to them until they charged me an unknown amount first! I tried to close my account, and they would not even allow that. I tried to remove my credit card they had on file and they froze my account, because they were going to charge me even though I did not authorize the additional charge. They froze my account on purpose so they would be able to charge me for the upgrade and I could not get out of it. I was shocked when the very next day I was charged $150 and could not even send to the email addresses I had uploaded to the account. This was very fraudulent that I could not even close my account or make any changes to my own account. When sending an email to mailchimp headquarters about this, I received NO RESPONSE. After they charged me the $150, then miraculously my account becomes unfrozen and I was able to close it finally. I had to report my card stolen by my bank because I cannot trust them with my credit card information again. I want my $150 back.
