Avoid this guy. He said his rate is $100 an hour. He showed up 40 minutes late. I had a frozen water pipe somewhere outside the house. He spent 10 minutes heating the problem pipe and charged $200. Why double? He said he gets $100 to show up and $100 for labor. When I questioned his logic on the bill, he got indignant and said smugly "well the last guy didn't complain" He solved my problem on a Saturday, so I paid him. But he never explained the "$100 show up" fee in advance and I didn't appreciate his attitude or adding another full $100 per hour for 10 minutes of work. His attitude was uncalled for.
