They scammed me on eBay for $800 for a Sealy Optimum mattress sold as ""New"" ""Factory"" ""Close Out"" etc.
Mattress was 1.5+ years old, and still offgassing with the label clearly marked ""SECOND HAND"" (USED!) as per Arkansas law! Not only was it USED but the odor was so bad the cover sheet and blanket smelled after one night. Clearly, this was a DEFECTIVE, USED, mattress from Arkansas that should have been destroyed not resold!
I called Sealy and confirmed, they do not sell ""Overstock"", ""Factory Closeout,"" etc! LIES! You can call Sealy @ 1-800-697-3259 to confirm. I also have pictures of the label marked ""SECOND HAND"" (USED) per Arkansas law!
They are selling dealer ""comfort returns"" and floor models (USED!) as ""New"" ""Factory Closeout"" etc. It would have cost another $400 to return and I can't even give it to a charity! $800 for defective trash! And these con artists had they gaul to accuse me of scamming them! LIARS AND THIEVES!
