Monsieur Toiture are scam artists. Mark and Lisa are friendly, seem nice and always answer their cell 514-505-3533 but it stops once the job is done. This is where they get you. They are so nicer that they make you feel bad to ask for refernces or other info.
I asked for their RBQ number and thought I did the right thing. unfortunately I only checked the number once the job was done. The RBQ number was registered to Couvreur Metropolitain.
My first clue should have been that their price was way lower than other roofers.
The scond clue was thatthey are available immediately.
Don't make the mistake I made. I was pannicking, I was in a hurry and I wanted the job done right away.
At first everything seemed fine but once I had issues they never csalled back. I tried emailing them but I got nothing.
The work they did was incomplete, missing caulking, holes on the siding, missing flashing etc...
Be sure to refer to the RBQ site before you hire someone. Make sure their number is valid. Ask for ID, make sure everyone on the job is qualified and has the proper papers. I even asked for insurance papers to make sure they had the proper insurance and I still got ripped off.
if the quote is too lower compared to other quotes. Beware. Ask for refernces and CALL the refernces before they do the job. I would even take their license plate as an extra precaution.
I feel follish but I learned a lesson. Don't make the same mistake.

Mark a heavy set gentleman about 50 years old. tatoos, but a very kind demeanor, and Lisa (also heavy but not obese about 40 years old) seemed nice enough in early summer when we signed a contract to be completed in late summer. But when I returned from vacation, they were nowhere to be found.
Stay away from them, and follow the excellent advice given by the Jul 17, 2014 review above.
