I purchased Gift Certificates that the company is not honoring. It has NO

EXPIRATION date on the certificates. I am holding the ORIGINAL certificates. I

first called the place of business and spoke with a representative to see if the

gift certificates were still usable as I was gifting them to my niece for her

21st birthday. The representative asked me to hold on the line as she wanted to

confirm with her supervisor, after 10 minutes on hold she came back on the line

and stated " yes, we they are valid and that the only thing is that you can not

come on a Friday or Saturday to use them". I said thank you and then handed the

certificates to my niece as a birthday gift and said the words "enjoy". My niece

then decides to make an appointment and another woman picks up the phone and

says to first bring the certificates by or fax a copy and they will check if

valid. She was then told that they are too old. When I came to know about this,

I reached out to the owner of the establishment. I left 2 messages and emailed

her twice. Only after my third call, I received a call back from the owner

Katrina. She says she will not honor those certificates as they are too old. I

explained to her that these are original certificates that one of her staff

already verified with their supervisor and that I have already gifted it and she

was really harsh and inconsiderate in her tone. I did not appreciate the

response in such an unprofessional manner, that also from the owner.
