I was called today by my boss who receives a call from a Marshall Davis. He threatens to come to office however I am in the field, I'm a home health aid. My boss explains she's not allowed to have information out about where I am, its a hippa law he continued to push till she took a case number and called me. Not very happy was my boss. I called them and they wanted me to beg church members for money family friends told me I was going to jail and I'm explaining that I tried making arrangements to pay a loan that was originally 250. Now 575.00 off and was denied because company wanted more than I could give. And this guy just kept being pushy to me I. Explaining do to health I had hours cut barely making it did offer a payment he told me judge won't care when I go to court its gonna be 1100.00 and jail I gave up trying to talk to him I told him fine take me to jail I can't give what I don't have and am not going begging to very small church that's poor already and asking for money so i am sure he will call again and I'll lose job.

Approximately 3 weeks ago, I received a call from NCS at my place of employment. As I do not receive calls at work, they ended up having to leave a voicemail on our recorded phone system. They stated that they are going to serve me with papers and that I needed to contact them right away about clearing the matter up. They left a case number and asked that I speak with Lynn at extension 722. As I do not want these types of calls made to my workplace, as is my right as a consumer, I called them back. This was probably a mistake.

I spoke to one representative, I believe her name was Melissa, who was pushy, rude, and unable to verify any information that she had on me because I would not let her. I advised that I would need a written document stating what debt it was that they are trying to collect for. I also advised that they cease and desist with any communications to my workplace as this only needs to be communicated verbally.

She refused and ended up transferring me to Lynn at this point. I once again asked that they do not call my work. Lynn was confrontational and attempted to throw me by personally insulting me during the call, asking how I was unable to remember a debt that was obviously mine. I once again advised they send me a written notification of the debt and was instead sent one by email. When Lynn asked when they could expect payment, I advised that I would have to review the documentation before I would commit to any type of payments. After advising that I was unable to call back until after my work shift was over and that I could not check my email until then, Lynn disconnected the call.

The call I made to them was on a Friday. Upon arriving to work the next Monday and reviewing our internal call recording system, I found they had once again called my workplace and left another voicemail. At this point, I was pretty livid. I called their number one more time and spoke to the same representative from before. Before she could say anything, I asked if the call was being recorded and advised that if calls to my employer did not stop, I would file a complaint against them with the FTC for violating the FDCPA. The phone rep stated that they would continue to call me at my workplace and disconnected the call on me once again. After this phone call, I filed my complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (I was transferred from the FTC website to there).

This company has called my workplace nearly 10 times now and spoken to different people on several occasions, often advising the phone representative that answered our main line at my work that they intended to serve me papers with the "local authorities". I have copies of the recordings of several of these calls. It has been nearly 10 days and they have yet to respond to my filed complaint with the CFPB. My boyfriend received a call from someone whom I believe to be in their offices claiming to be calling about my complaint, but the number they left is not listed anywhere on the CFPB website, and the representative's name and company was garbled beyond comprehension on purpose. I will not be calling these people back.

This company is a scam. Plain and simple. The "written" document they EMAILED to me is on very simple paper with the letters NCS in the upper left corner. There is only an 877 number listed on the bottom, along with the customer service email. It states directly on the letter that this is an attempt to collect a debt, however the phone representatives I had the misfortune of speaking to from this company told me that this was not the case.

Every call received from this company comes up on caller ID as unknown or blocked. Every time they call, they leave a different number to call them back on. I will NOT be giving this company any money and would suggest that anyone else who receives a phone call or threat from this company to do the same. Be smart and don't let these people bully you and don't call them back if it can be avoided. If they were legitimate, they would not be threatening to serve you papers, especially at work, and with the "local authorities", when they can't even tell you who those are. They are phishing for information, particularly bank accounts and credit cards. STAY AWAY.
