Netflix, Inc. Reviews

Netflix started retroactive billing on an inactive account. It billed my for an Oct-Nov 2014 in December. Netflix never had access to my credit card.

Netflix billed my twice in january 2015 - for Dec - Jan on the inactive account.

The account lists these charges. No one ever used this account. It had an old credit card; the account was no longer use. The account was dead. Right? Nope

I used Netflix for 1 month in December 2014. I was charged twice for December; and twice for January, even though I canceled my subscription .. started in December and was canceled within the 30 day period. Somehow, surprisingly (and this sugest fraud .. like someone drainging funds by using double or triple billing activities) my subscription, cancelled after 20+ days of use ... would be available for over 40 days. Another oddity.

Imo, Netflix actions are intentional.

Absent any "CEO going national and defending this ripoff policy," I would consider the potential for fraud to be exceedingly high. Be careful.

IMO, avoid Netflix. Integrity and honor seem in short supply. Theft ought not be the centerpiece of corporate polict. It is with Netflix.

Netflix lost our loyalty today when we discovered we were being charged with two separate accounts for streaming movie and television service to our one family, one home, one room where we used their streaming service. They double charged us for 15 months altogether but claimed it was our fault because we were supposed to manage our accounts online, and had failed to do so. As Netflix would sign us in indiscriminately into either of the accounts open in our one household name, unbeknownst to us, they claimed we were "using both accounts, and therefore, both services" even though we were always signed in automatically at the press of a button.

We never used our email or password to sign in, and as such, never realized we were "using" two accounts. But Netflix felt we did not deserve to be credited back the amount of the 15 months service which we were paying twice each month for. They claimed they were protected because we had "agreed to terms of service" by clicking that button, and told me they didn't have to return any of the double monthly charge. I argued that it was wrong and unfair for them to charge us for an account twice, and why would I knowingly have two accounts open with them,

especially considering one would have no use for the same services....charged twice to the same home and family....Netflix disagreed and refused to refund the unrighteously taken payments we made. We will never be deceived by Netflix again, and watch out for them! As a side note, we had caught the mistake 15 months ago, (a second fee for the same service/same month) and contacted the company, and were under the mistaken impression the second account had been closed on our behalf. Not so. Beware dishonest companies who don't mind if they stole your money unfairly and refuse to make it right! Netflix is just such a beast!

Went to the bank and found out I was overdraft. Because of netflix charged me 4 times at 9.48. All on different days so I called them and was told that they didn't take the money out. I have proof from bank and overdraft fees. I cancelled my account immediately because who know how much money they would steal from me next month. And 70$ in just overdraft and they will not pay it.down with netflix
