On Sunday April 12 I clicked on a link through Facebook to a site talking about nutritional supplements to help you lose weight in a healthy way. All you had to do is pay shipping and handling. So I did. The order wasn't shipped out until the 20th and I didn't receive it until the 27th. I received a call from my bank asking if I authorized 2 transactions on the 5 the of May. One for $79.50 the other for $78.23 in which I did not. The email address they provide is bogus and the phone number is to leave a message and they will get back to you and of course they have not.

Ordered to dietary products online, pure Detox max and Garcinia Slim. Claim to lose 7 lbs a week. Products are ineffective. To add insult to injury the advertising says that they will send the two products out for the cost of shipping. What they don't show or tell you anywhere on their website is that they will charge your credit card a month later for the two products, These costs are DOUBLE what you would pay in a health food store. Call their customer service number and get nothing but stonewalled. Do NOT buy from these folks. I can't believe Dr. Oz would have his name attached to a company that has such deceptive sales practices.

I ordered the free 14 day trial. It's not free. Aside from the fact that you have to pay shipping, which I was fine with, you are told that you will get a 14 day trial. No, you get 45 days worth of product and then after the 14 days you are either charged the nearly $80 or you have to ship back the rest of the product. They say you can keep it for a promotional price of $19.99 per bottle, but I never ordered the bottles to begin with! They literally send you a bottle that you don't want and make you pay for it, or pay to send it back. COMPLETE SCAM!

Their customer service is even worse. Their phones rarely work and when it does, you are put on hold every 3 seconds. Today just trying to cancel, I was hung up on SIX TIMES! And the customer service woman called me an insulting name on top of all that. I spent two hours trying to cancel and eventually gave up and had to pay the extra promotion price.

Don't fall for the scam from this company. They are theives, liars, and unprofessional. I'm disgusted at having to work with them.

I ordered the product to try it for free and just pay the shipping. I did not realize that they were going to charge me 150$ every month if I didn't cancel it within 14 day. They took the money out of my account leaving me with only a few dollars in my bank account. I tried calling and got a woman that barely spoke English and didn't know what she was doing. I told her I wanted a refund and do not want the product. She said there was nothing she could do and I can't get a refund. She said she could only give me a 50$ courtesy. This site is a complete rip off and I want my hard earned money back.

This product was recommended by DR OZ. Free trial with charges only for shipping. Paid for shipping. Could not take product for more than 3 days. Made my blood sugar go up and down. ( I am not diabetic) Very sick. I saw on my bank statement where this company, Nutra Life Brands from Tampa Florida had charged me 78.20 and 79.50. I called the number on the bottle to ask why and they said "the trial was not really free." No paperwork sent with product. They offered to give me 60 back and I told them no because my understanding was that the product was a free trial, I paid for shipping and to please reimburse me the full amount. The woman told me "fine! You are not getting anything back!" They said also that if the bottles were unopened that they would reimburse me?! How could you try a free trial without opening the bottle?

I ordered 2 week free trial charged 6.99 shipping a few days after receiving product before I could evaluate the drug and cancel my account was charged $79.99. When I called they said the 2 weeks started when the product was ordered I was not informed of this but they said it was on line but I only dealt with an individual on the phone. They offered a $25 "courtesy" refund but I refused because I will be disputing the charge with my bank and canceling my card so there will be no more unauthorized charged from this scam company.

As seen on tv.I went on intranet and ordered carcinima cambogia and pure detox for 4,95@ nothing was said about canceling future orders if I didnt want. Yesterday my bank calls, they have taken out 79,50 without my permission and I have no products. i have called several times and left several messages for them to call me back to cancel if thats what i need to do. Still no calls. Because of this I am going to cancel my bank account. How do these people get by with this. This is stealing! Anything you fo;ls can do to catch them would ve appreciared by me and future purchasers. You dont know what is ligit anymore.

They have charged me 157.50 x2 for product never received. I have been put on hold for up to 1 hour 22 minutes then disconnected each time i have tried to contact. Have had email contact only and told they will not handle my complaint i must speak to a rep from the company. Those of you that have actually talked to someone congrats i have been trying since april calling every day same result. Changed my bank card and still they have found a way to charge my account.

  • May 11, 2015

I ordered the free trial offer of Garcinia Cambosia SLIM and Pure Detox Max and authorized payment for shipping and handling on my credit card. After a week I was to see charges of $79.50 and $78.20 on my bank transaction history. I went to the bank to see what was going on and found Nutri Life Brands had without any authorization billed my account. My bank will assist me in attaining fraud charges and I'm changing all my accounts ,stopping payment and detouring any further charges. Companies like this are what ruins on line purchasing for all companies, I know I'm DONE BUYING ANYTHING ON LINE !

Product Scam. Listed as a $6.95 trial and then charged roughly $80 per bottle on two trials that were ordered. On 4/21/2015, saw an add online for a trial of a weight loss suppliment/detox and decided to give it a try since it was all natural ingredients.

Received the products in a timely manner but then two weeks after ordering the product discovered there was a charge on our back account for $79.50 for one and $78.20. This was not what we originally thought we agreed to. Turns out there is a terms and conditions page on their website you have to know to click to get the full information on what you are agreeing to.

After calling them, we were told we could not get a refund of our money since the product had been opened. This company is running a scam for a product that can be bought at any local supplement store for between $15 and $30. Buyers need to be aware of this product scam.

Tried a trial again for the slim and detox. They had called and said they had changed there product because people were gaining and not losing and took out ingredients that were not good for you. Got the bottle and the same minerals that they said they removed were still in it. Recieved the products started using it. Gained wt like before.

Called to cancel 18 days out. No answer after 20 minutes. Left a message to not send me any more product and to cancel. The message said they would call back within 24 hours. Never did.

Now this week, been charged $160. Funny they charged my account after I had called to say not to charge and stop anymore from coming.

Called them and after 16 minutes they answered. Now they say it was a 14 day trial. Last time I tried it was a month long trial. They will not reverse charges. They said I needed to call right away after I got the product to cancel or not open the sealed box to get my money back.

They lied about the product taking ingredients out of the Slim product to improve it. They put no information in the shipping box to let you know it has a 14 day trial and you must let them know in the first few days if it is not working.

They also said they do not call back messages left on the phone because the voicemails are to many. So if they don't why do they have a message that they will call back within 24 hours?

I will call my credit card company and dispute it.

This company charged my credit card without my permission.

The charges appeared on my bill dated 4/12/15 and to this date 4/25/15 the products have not arrived.

The products being Garcinia Cambogia Slim $79.50 and Detox Max $78.20.

Thank you for your attention to this matter

I bought Garcinia Cambogia Slim after seeing a "FREE TRIAL" ad. I have to pay around $4 for shipping and handling and they tried to charge me over $79 From my account without my knowledge. I had tried to call and talk to a supervisor but the woman on the phone insisted they don't have supervisors!!!! So pissed.

  • Apr 1, 2015

I ordered the Garcinoma Slim 1000 for 4.95 and when I went to check my accout they had taken out 3 different payments within a months time and now I am left with no money in my account.

I tried to call the 800 number where I was hung up on the first time, the second call made I was on hold for at least 30 minutes and then it went to voicemail. The third time and every time thereafter went straight to voicemail saying to leave a message and they would return the call within 24 hours which of course did not happen.

I would like my money back. This is the first time I have ever ordered anything like this and will be the last time. Do not bother with anything that sounds too good to be true!

The company NutruLife is a ripoff. I purchase the Pure Detox Max and the Garcinia Cambogia Slim. I was charged 6.94 and 6.95 respectively. Then on March 12, 2015 I was charged 78.20 and 79.50 for the pills. The pills were not working for me so i cancelled my subscription on day 13, I did not receive an email of my cancellation until the 24th of March. The representative wouldn't even let me get what I wanted out as if she knew why I was calling. She stated that the cancellation notice is in my inbox already and no further charges would be billed. I did not get a refund for the 78.20 and 79.50 even though I called to cancel. Then the representative hung up. I tried to call back but no answer.

I would have be ripped off by these companies who claim that you can cancel after a 14 day free trial. Well!! First scammers I encountered. I signed up from a facebook post to get a free $100 Target or Wal-mart gift card, all you need to try is 1 bronze, 2 silver, and 3 gold samples trials to become eligible. Should have know that something was wrong when I did that and had no response. I cancelled was with VitaFirm and they still want my $$. I agreed my first month starting Feb. 28 on being a member cause I was given a discount to pay $40 for a cream. But my card was charged $60, so I cancelled on March 7 and no cream yet. Then today I was checking my card statement and on March 15 was one more charge for $60. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and leave it in their hands. In the meantime I was credited $120 from the credit company while they investigate.

After seeing what seemed to be a legitimate ad for a "Free Trial" of Garcinia Cambogia Slim and the accompanying product Pure Detox Max, I ordered the free trial and at no time was I told that if it was not returned within 14 days of my order I would be billed $79.50 for the Garcinia Cambogia Slim and $78.20 for the Pure Detpx Max. How is this a free trial if you are going to be billed the full amount for the product? I paid $695 for shipping of the two bottles and received them on 1/26/15. My credit card was billed for the additional $157.70 on 2/09/2015. When I called the company I spoke with an extremely rude woman who offered only to refund $30 toward each product. Even with the $60 total refund, I was charged $97.70 for the "FREE TRIAL". What an amazing ripoff! The people on their phone lines maintain that they do not have a supervisor. They are very well trained to be hard and fast with their rules. They should be so ashamed of themselves for ripping off people in this manner!!

Nutra Life Brands is refusing to issue me a full refund for their Garcinia Cambogia and Detox Max products, after using deceptive advertising practices to lure me in.

Here's what happened- On Jan 14, 2015, I was on a website, and I thought that I must have accidently clicked on a link in the sidebar (now I know that I was hijacked), because I was redirected to another website with information about Garcinia Cambogia, the weight loss supplement.

I remember thinking that the website seemed legitimate; it appeared to be a news outlet or online magazine, because I recall that the name sounded familiar. Now I cannot find that website or landing page using any key words that would normally bring up the result in Google- this is obviously very suspicious. I now believe that Nutra Life Brand uses black hat methods to hijack your browser from legitimate websites, in order to push their misleading ads about the so-called "free trial offer".

While on the site, I read the article regarding this product, which was a review of how skeptical they were initially and how well it worked for one of their staff members. They also showcased videos of Christina Aguilera on a late night talk show, and Dr oz, who both touted the benefits of the products.

Now, I'm not one to try diet pills or fad weight loss products, because I believe in a healthy lifestyle and working out for effective weight management. However, this one caught my attention because it was comprised of all natural ingredients, such as herbs, minerals, etc... So, it was basically a supplement, rather than chemicals. The other thing that peaked my interest was the fact that they said you could try the product for "free" for 30 days, and you would simply have to pay for shipping ($6.95) per bottle- a small price to pay for something that may or may not work, but didn't appear to have ingredients that would harm anyone.

I clicked on the link to check it out even further, and the landing page for Nutra Life Brands appeared. There was no mention of a payment on either page, other than the shipping charge. I also received Order Confirmation emails for each product, as well as a Shipping Confirmation email, and none of the 3 emails contianed any information regarding additional charges or being signed up for a "monthly membership" for the products.

I will say that I received the product as agreed, and within a few days time. However, that is where their reputable business practices end.

After receiving my credit card statement on Feb 5, 2015, I realized that the company had charged me an additional $79.50 for the Garcinia Cambogia and $78.20 for the Detox Max. I contacted the company immediately, and explained that I did not agree to additional charges, nor was I informed of additional charges that would take place.

I was told, by the customer service rep, that I was being charged for the "product in my possession". Of course, I asked for an explanation, and she explained to me that the "trial offer" was only for 14 days of product, and that they had sent me a 45 day supply, so I would need to pay the difference for the extra supplements that I received. She also said that this was explained in the "terms and conditions" section of their site.

An argument ensued and she offered only a partial refund of approx $30 per bottle. I explained that this was not sufficient, considering that they had deceived me. She denied that this is a scam, and refused to refund any additional amount, so I told her that I would take it up with my credit card company.

By the way- I only ended up using the products for 2 days because they made me sick. I initially thought that it was something I ate, or that I was getting the flu that's been going around, but when I discontinued the product on the 3rd day, I felt 100% better.

Nutra Life Brands

How did you ultimately resolve the issue? I've seen many similar complaints but nothing about a resolution or how they may have been able to stop the monthly charges.
