One guard home warranty company is the worst insurance company,i have been with them for 2yrs paid all premiums+additional coverage for pool equipment and sprinklers at a cost of $1200 per year. when they were called out as my pool equipment was not working..one guard told me i was not covered,even though my policy clearly states it is.they were very argumentive i ended up having to pay for the repair + their call out tech. we had a sprinkler pipe brake,same defensive argument that we were not covered, when we was,they refused to repair it.i paid someone else to repair it at my cost again, plus they insisted i again paid ther teck, who did nothing.
we called them re the dryer was not drying the clothes.they sent a tech out who said it was the dryer vent blocked.he called one guard again they said i wasnt insuredwhich i am quite clearly insured for on my policy. eventually they admitted that i was covered for all the things that i ended up having to pay for.nevertheless they still insisted that i pay for all the service calls no one seemed a apology was called for, they were combative and argumentive all the time.my cost for the sprinklers and vent cleaning was $400.00.guess what after 10 weeks of phone calls they sent a ck $156.00. mind you they were slick enough to wait and take 2 months payments from my bank. be warned dont deal with this company.im cancelling as of today
