Opus Virtual Offices Reviews

  • Jun 17, 2015

We contracted with Opus and it clearly says on their site that offices are available. They do not disclose to you that it's a UPS store. I've had virtual offices before from different providers. My mail went to the physical address of the office building. This is nothing short of false advertising. We went to cancel after we found out it was a UPS store and got snotty email after snotty email from them including one that said, "I'm crying my eyes out." If that's a representation of their customer service, I don't know how they stay in business. As for the ones supporting these people, I guess ignorance is bliss.

STAY AWAY: OPUS IS SHADY - – ILLEGAL AGREEMENTS – STAY AWAY: CREDIT CARD FRAUD –

STAY AWAY: F GRADE

I am going to keep this brief for I have spent enough time. Back in the day it was simple to run a virtual office. HQ Global networks was the best (Regus us owned now).

Opus is well below average when it comes to the following:

Call answering GRADE: D- (i for almost 30 years now test all my numbers and call-in just to make sure my calls are being answered like agreed upon by the 3rd ring. Well on many occasions 11 rings - 17 rings was the most and there was a time it never was even picked up.

Then they would when I confronted them use double talk and blame the techs or my account. Please they are well biting off more than they can chew. They are not to be trusted with credit information also due to the fact that they do not honor their agreements.

BOTTOM LINE: Business Owners Grade Them F (cannot even cover low volume of calls).

Opus VItural Offices is a very decieving company. Stay away! There website "claims" no small print. That is a bold out and out lie.

We decided to close a company two years ago. We told the person at the virtual office we were doing this they said "No problem, I will let corporate know." Thinking nothing of it we continued with the process of closing the company.

We had left money in a bank account to take care of any additional payments the company owed. Last month I got an email from a Tammy Hamliton the "Accounting Manager" saying take 25 dollars off if you pay your payment today. I was shocked why was I still being charged for this when we closed the account two years ago.

I said this account was to be closed why am I getting this email? Her first respond "Sorry to wrong account.

Then she came back and said "We didn't know you closed the account you never signed a 30 day cancellation notice."

Fine so I signed one. Now I am being told "Well you signed a 30 day concellation notice but we are going to charge you through May. 3 months worth.

This company is a fraud they switch and bait. Why would a so called Manager tell you sign the 30 day cancellation notice they said oh well we are gonna charge you for the next 3 months.

I have reported their bad practices to my bank. There website is an out and out lie.

This is not a company worth doing business with.

Stay away!!! Save yourself the headache.

I was also sold by Sean Demartino. He stated once I signed up, I would not be bound to any contract and believing his word, I decided to go with Opus.

I submitted a cancellation a few days ago and received an email stating how sorry they were to see me leave and I would have to pay until 4/29/2015!!!

Ms. Tammy Henderson (do not know her position) replied with no empathy sending an email with the contract and I would HAVE to pay because of the terms. I tried to explain the reason I decided to go with Opus and all she did was say "sorry for the misunderstanding" but "you signed the contract". Really???

I would not recommend this company to anyone at all who are seeking a virtual office service. I will be out $396.00!!! What a horrible experience!!! BE AWARE!!!!

I had canceled my account with Opus Virtual Offices on February 5, 2014 and received a charge for $99 on March 31,2014 causing a $37 overdraft charge because they made a mistake and charged my account. I have been credited back the $99 on April 4, 2014, but they refuse to correct the issue of the overdraft fee that was their mistake. The only response I have received is that they credited it back and the bank should not charge you overdraft fees - they do not work for the bank and the bank makes their own rules. I have given the billing department at Opus a few opportunities to correct this issue without success. As a business owner I accpet and correct any mistakes I make with my clients and expect the business owners to do the same. Mistakes happen, but how you respond to them defines the integrity of your company and I question that integrity at this time.
