This apartment complex although nice looking is hell. There is nothing but barking dogs ALL OVER the property. The worst is in the morning from about 6:30 am to 9:00 am. These people walk their many dogs and the dogs are all barking at each other in a cacophony that seems endless. These people think it is cute and laugh and smile all the while it is completely audible in every apartment. They have no breed or weight restrictions here so some people have two large dogs that are barking at all the other large dogs and sometimes this will happen right in front of your door and scare the hell out of you.
The walls are thin enough to hear thru and god forbid you have a neighbor with a dog because guess what, you can hear it bark like its in your own apartment. And when these dog owners are not home of course the dog or dogs in most cases goes nuts. Barking and barking and barking. If your upstairs neighbor has a dog you will most definitely absolutely hear that as well. You can hear when your upstairs neighbor flushes the toilet or does laundry so the sound of the dog barking is deafeningly loud.
And some of these inconsiderate dog owners will even leave their windows open and leave, the dog or dogs will go NUTS barking like rabid beasts at anything that moves and you get to bear witness to it all in your apartment you work so hard to have. I have also had people over for dinner parties and celebratory ocassions and while sitting around the table you could hear nothing but my neighbors dogs barking 15 feet away. I was really embarrassed. It sounds like the kennel club. Alot of these people do not pick up after their dogs as well so I would not allow my children to play in the grass here.
Dogs on many occassions will bark at all hours of the day including 3, 4 , 5 am and wake you up. One day I received a call about a death in my family and while lying in bed after the call my neighbors dog decided to bark for the next two hours. All I wanted was some peace in my home and mind but I got none. This place obviously does not care what kind of ill behaved dogs and people live here and just want the extra cash those dogs will bring in from deposists and monthly fees they charge. Find somewhere else to rent, I wish I did.
