This was the WORST parenting decision we have EVER made. After just two days of our children in Pamela's care, care we expected to be as professional and loving as her resume and initial persona displayed, we knew our children were NOT in good hands.
I will not share the intimate details of our traumatic ordeal on this online report (to protect our children) but I will make our ordeal known to whoever desires to know the truth behind Pamela Posey before you decide to leave your children in her care. I sure wish someone would have warned us about her.

We paid Pamela over $1000 for 10 days. We trusted her so much (stupid us) that we paid her in advance. Our 12 year old daughter was left all alone the entire day without food or adult supervision and without being told where Pamela was going and if she was going to return and when. When I got home I fed my daughter Taco Bell late at night as she was starving. Pamela had made ZERO attempts to check in on our 12 year old daughter after she dumped her off at our home alone. Our other daughter, well, her story is confidential but was indeed the MOST traumatic part of our family's ordeal, as if the ordeal of the other two weren't bad enough. Anyone familiar with the old movie Mommy Dearest will understand some of what my son went through. She furthermore refuses to:
1) Refund us for 4 days that she did not provide services that she was paid for
2) Refund us for money she was given to spend on FUN activities for the kids but never did ANYTHING fun with the kids and yet she has kept this money.
3) Return to us property she was loaned to use as a favor but now refuses to make arrangements to return this expensive property.
We are making every effort to protect our children first which is why this report is nearly a week later. They all 3 have been traumatized severely by Pamela. We are also working hard with trying to contact Pamela, asking for the finacial refund and the return of our property items but she has remained unresponsive and does not return texts, emails, or phone calls.

CPS has informed me that nothing Pamela did was enough to warrent Criminal Charges but agrees, based on my children's testimony, that abuse did occur....mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional abuse and neglect. To be criminal, severe physical or proven sexual abuse had to occur. What is sad about that is that emotional abuse and physical neglect are sometimes more traumatizing then harsh physically violent abuse. Filing charge againt her will further traumatize my children and so that decision to file official charges against her is one that we are still strong considering despite being told that she would simply have a ding on her background check and she would not face criminal charges. Lucky for Pamela right? There simply is no justice for our children in this situation. They are traumatized and left abused and Pamela gets away scott free with money she did not earn. I am grateful for the fact that I believe in divine justice.
So Parent to Parent I a writing this experience. She obviously does well with her tutoring students who she has ONLY for an hour at a time although there are negative reviews on her profile as well. Positive reviews are easily doctored and created from false accounts, fyi.
We don't care about money although we are owed a refund for a significant amount from this woman. We are focused first on getting our children the tender loving care they need as a result of this traumatic event. We care about our children and YOURS above ALL.
There are personal issues I've come to discover about Pamela that now, after this experience, I have put two and two together. I blame myself for putting my children into harms way by choosing Pamela yet one can hardly truly blame themselves when someone presents such a professional, kind persona. Make sure to dig deeper before you entrust you precious gems into another cares! I surely will NEVER fail to dig deeper again!
