It's Tuesday, July 8th, and the Conversations with the Dead Tour was rescheduled for this month. After Chip Coffey had to bow out of the tour, Chris Edwards handled rescheduling and I was asked to fill in for Chip.
The tour sounded like fun, and I haven't been traveling as much as I used to. A lot of fans really wanted to see me. I've cut down on appearances so I could focus on my writing (my new fiction novel, Conspiracy of Angels, is due out through Titan Publishing next year), but I felt like I could swing a month on the road.
But ... it is Tuesday, July 8th. I have no plane tickets, no hotel reservations, no idea what the plan is supposed to be. That's not for lack of asking. That's just how things stand.
I'm pretty darned easy-going when it comes to schedules and such. I used to tour on a shoe-string budget with a metal band - I've learned to adapt by the seat of my pants. But with the new book series and everything else that is going on in my life right now, I had to give an ultimatum: there is no way I will be able to participate in the Conversations with the Dead Tour if the dates get rescheduled again.
I know my friends from PRS have a great deal of things going on in their lives - I probably know more than most. But there comes a time when one must admit that their life is too chaotic to responsibly make commitments -- especially with other peoples' money. And I won't continue to enable that.
I am very sorry I won't be seeing those of you who signed up for the tour. Please understand that I was asked to come along as a guest, and I have had neither involvement nor access to the business, administrative, nor monetary side of things. So should you need clarifications on rescheduling, refunds, or what exactly is going on, you will have to reach out to Ryan and/or Serge.
As a side note, Chris Edwards was previously handling most of that contact, but Chris Edwards and Eilfie Music have both resigned from PRS as of this month. By the terms of their contracts, they cannot even respond to emails you may send them on this or PRS-related issues. Please respect that.
Thank you all for your patience during the time in which I had no updates or solid answers for you on the matter of this tour -- and thank you all for continuing to understand that I won't be able to offer any further insight into the circumstances and reasons beyond this public statement. All those details are for Ryan and Serge to share, if or when they are able.

Hey everyone, I'd like to address a couple of things here instead of responding to each person individually about everything that has been brought up. First, regarding the article; one, I am not sure when journalism changed, but we were never contacted to give a statement about these allegations. Refunds are being given out, but it is unfortunately a very slow process.
One of the things, we know we have faltered on is communication and customer service. We are looking into several services and ways that can help us ensure we are able to improve in this area. We are not sure why there are people claiming that we never announced an event postponement, but we did send out several emails. We will agree that some of the emails could have been sent out earlier, and for that we take responsibility on and are sorry for the inconvenience, stress, and aggravation it has caused.
There are several new things that we are looking to implement; this also includes our webinars. We have been testing out a new webinar system to ensure it works properly. Our goal is NOT to leave a stain in the paranormal community, but to help bring legitimacy, respect, and a sense of altruism.
For those that are continuing to support us throughout all this negativity, thank you for standing by us. It is your comments that help us get through moments where we feel beat down. It is you guys that keep us from wanting to crawl under a rock. For those that are upset and hurt, we are sorry that we have lost your faith in us. Hopefully, in time, we can earn it back. And for those, that just wan't to hate, well, I feel sorry for you, as you are not really living a full life.

A blog posted on the internet today by one of my haters alleges that I refused to disclose private details about why I withdrew from the Conversations with the Dead tour because I was "threatened with the release of some unsavory facts." The blog states that this information comes from an unnamed individual who is "a well place[d] source inside of Ryan's [Buell] band of many."
First of all: BULLSH!T! I am under no obligation to discuss my private business dealings with anyone as long as I have done nothing illegal, which I have NOT!
Second: No one threatened to disclose "unsavory facts" about me because THERE ARE NONE. I've actually led a rather boring life, in many respects, with no hidden scandals.
Some folks try to gain fame by demeaning others. They post assumptions, innuendos, rumors and outright lies in order to make themselves appear to have the "inside scoop." In reality, they know little or nothing and they rarely deal in FACTS or TRUTH.
These individuals should be aware that their nonsense is no longer being overlooked by me and others who have been maligned and libeled. We have had ENOUGH and legal action will be forthcoming if and when certain lines are crossed.
So, here's a word to the bloggers and their minions: proceed with caution and watch what you say or post on the internet. YOU ARE BEING WATCHED! If you think you are immune from legal action, THINK AGAIN! My attorney is ready, willing and eager to see you in court. He is a former Green Beret, a legal pit bull and he has already won a huge internet defamation case that set legal precedent all over the USA.

It is with huge regret that I must announce that due to circumstances completely beyond my control, I will not be a part of the Conversations with the Dead tour that was slated to begin on April 25.
Please be advised that I have not collected any money, had access to any money and will not receive any money from Conversations With the Dead ticket sales. PRS is managing this tour. If you have any questions or concerns, you may reach out to PRS by contacting them at [email protected] .
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or problems that may arise from my withdrawal from the tour.
These are the excuses we get , for those of us that have bought tickets. They back out a few weeks or days before the event should take place.
We the " people " would like answers. I do not want to read excuses and contract bull. Why "the sudden changes?" These people are running a finacial scam. This has been going on for years and there cover up's try to muzzle us. Enough is enough already and these statements are not enough for us. Refunds have not been given out in full. Not all of us has gotten the refunds for past events. Then we look at the places that are holding the events,are not even booked. Tickets were being sold for two days only and become fastly taken down (stopped.) Not all tickets were sold for these events , there is a lot going on in this fincacial scam leaving us with a lot of question and not so much answers!
I bought tickets months ago for a Vancouver, British Columbia show in April 2014. A couple weeks before the date, an email was sent saying the date had been changed to June 22nd.
So I went to the venue where it was to be held on June 22nd and the place had not been booked for Ryan Buell's Paranormal Research Society's show! He and his Society had no intentions of holding a show because the venue is never open Sundays.
To think that Buell's father was a police officer and may have taught his son some ethics.
There are rumours the Paranormal State show may return to television, but the crew has lost many fans over its fraudulent actions. I will not support Buell or any of his colleagues again. Buyer beware.
DON'T SIGN UP FOR AN EVENT. I was a huge fan of the show, drove to Atlanta to meet them on a PRS new season tour, got there and no was around and waited for about an hour for them to come back from eating with Chip Coffee. I signed up the last PRS field trip 15, I did the downpayment plan, paid for a plane ticket and within a few weeks of the event I wrote them to them asking how I can pay the payments, there was just the first payment.
I got no response then a week before the even since every email about where to go, I had no idea it was even being held at I cancelled my flight and just 3 days before the event I got an email saying I had to pay the full balance. I said forget about it and wanted a refund, they said they couldn't, eventbrite said they wouldn't either so I waited a year and put the amount towards a paranormal photography webnair. As what I expected the first class was pushed back a week then the next class was pushed back a few months then the last class never happened.
I've come to believe the problems are at the top, I contacted everyone, no response. My questions where deleted from facebook. I'm lucky I was able to use the airplane money on a different trip but I lost all faith in PRS. I deleted their shows from TiVo, very sad as they were my favorite show but they showed no respect to the people paying. They have to have hundreds of thousands of dollars from just a few events I saw cancelled, no telling how much money they have. I'm afraid to buy anything from them espically events.
Anyways this is my first ripoff report ever, I just wanted to share my experience. I was a huge fan and now I don't trust anything they say or do. I've heard rumors of drug abuse, I know Ryan deals with cancer but there is better ways of paying those bills then ripping people off. An actual fundraiser would be a great way to do it. I know people with cancer and I think Ryan has used it as an excuse to keep people's money. I own my own business, I would have to refund people's money, they should too if they don't show up and provide what people are paying for.
