Shady

Ordered one part, but was billed for two. Their Order Summary page clearly showed that I am buying a single item, but when i submitted the order, the Order Confirmation showed they billed me for two (kept screen prints of both pages). Called them first thing the next morning and they refused to change the quantity back to one. Had to spend my own money to return the second part. Will never use again or recommend.

I agree with the other posts - this company is not even worth one star. I ordered a part that was never delivered. The Fedex tracking said it was in another state with "no estimated delivery date".

I couldn't reach their fake customer service because the number on their website put me on hold immediately with the message "if you want to talk to sales, stay on the line; if you want to talk to customer service, fill out the form." I did and received a "form letter" in reply with tracking information. They didn't even read my comment on the form that I already had tracked the package and it was undeliverable. I NEVER had the opportunity to talk to anyone.

They finally sent an email saying they were going to refund the purchase price, but they wouldn't refund shipping, even though it was not in any way, shape, or form, my fault that the part wasn't delivered.

PLEASE, if you are reading this, do NOT buy anything from them - you WILL be sorry. This is the only way to put businesses like this out of business!

I am re-ordering from Rock Auto Parts in Wisconsin. They seem to have much better reviews.

I am an independent shop owner who made the mistake of using partsgeek.com to source a part for one of my more financially challenged customers. The price was good but that is where it ends with partsgeek.com.

They have no customer service department, so when I received the wrong part which was ordered correctly. I had to, through e-mail start a support ticket to which they send an automated response that says they will respond within 48 hours. (Thanks for nothing, I have a broken truck on my hoist right now) They did respond within 48 hours & instructed me to return the part & they would credit my account & I could then try to get the correct part. I went back & forth with these Bozos for over a month, one message every other day or so & asked if they would be reimbursing the cost of the shipping since it was not my fault. They refused & would not do anything until I returned the incorrect part at my cost (It ended up costing me $47.99 for the shipping) The only thing I got from them in any attempt to resolve this was an e-mail telling me that they do not pay for return shipping for any reason regardless who's at fault.

If you are considering using partsgeek.com to save some money, don't say I didn't warn you.

Listed a PO box as a ship to address. PartsGeek came back and said they don't ship to PO boxes, so I assumed they must be using UPS or FedEx. I gave them the physical address of my dad's house, PartsGeek took my money, then sent me a postal service tracking number. I contacted PartsGeek customer service through their web site to tell them my dad can't get US mail service at his physical address. PartsGeekexact words: "We cannot change carriers and we do not ship to p.o boxes." PartsGeek does not list any phone numbers or addresses on their website. I don't even know what state they are in. Buyer beware. I should have been more careful with who I'm dealing with on the internet.

They sent wrong part but i must pay return shipping, charging me for mistake, plus I have extra downtime. Whats stopping them from doing this intentionaly to generate cash off of you? This may be a scam ?

I orderd a air conditioner compressor, drier, and expansion valve. The site said to expect 3 to 5 days for delivery I first received the compressor it came in a big box inside it was a white box that was handled with greasy hands it had been retaped I was scepticle of that but I opened it any . The hand prints were inside too there was obvious that it had removed from the box and replaced and shipped again. The cover over the suction and high side of the compressor was missing. And i have to admit i have never in my life ever seen a new ac compressor come without that allowing moisture to get into it. I got the expansion valve that was the right part and was new but the drier never came i had gotten a high pressure sensor instead. Now here is where i was upset when i had to buy another one return what i had wait 30 days to get a refund and pay shipping again to get it and return it. Back to the compressor i informed parts geek of what i had and they wanted pictures of it i sent them and i got a response of honestly we dont see nothing wrong with it . And it was new!

On May 26, 2014, I went on Partsgeek.com website and ordered some rotors for my BMW. I followed the steps on the site to pick the right rotors. It turns out the rotors were wrong when I recieved them. I called into their customer service and explained I went through the site and picked them through their site, and the site picked the wrong size rotors. The guy I spoke with said they would send me a UPS label to return the items and gave me a RMA # and said to place this info all over the box. Well I got the RMA # and then never got anything for the shipping label. I then emailed them back saying where is the shipping label and I would get one word responses or emails saying I would be contacted by someone in customer service.

I never heard back, so I called again, (after three weeks of emails) held forever, then re explained the siutation and someone finally sent me the shipping label.

I put the RMA # everywhere on the box like they instructed me and they recieved the item back two days later, early July. I inquired on 7/24 and I asked about the money back, which i got an email stating they would contact me in 24 hours or so. I never heard back. I emailed them back on 7/29 saying this is ridiculous to be two months into this, and it almost seems personal, which this time I got a ticket denied response from the company. I then called again on 8/18 asking about my return. I had hoped over the month period I would have heard something. I explained the situation to Bob and he assured me he would call me back. Never did, now when I call I just get a email us voicemail when I call customer service and the personal # of Bob is always busy, minus one time, which he let the phone ring for a few minutes before picking up the phone and hanging up on me with no answer. When I called back, it went to a busy signal. I have also emailed there customer service page on the home screen again today with no answer. They have already cost me more money than what I spent in missed work time. At this point, I want my refund or credit more on principality than anything else. At this point its costing me to keep trying to not get robbed by these crooks.

I ordered what was claimed to be an OEM A/C compressor for my car. What they sent me was incompatable with my R12 freon, not an OEM part for my car as claimed. So why should I be out the $36 it cost to ship it back ?

They duck all responsibility for their own mistakes when it comes to paying for retun shipping.

I won't ever use them again.
