I have three children whom all love eachother and love their mother. During my children's teenage angst and growing pains CPS demanded my children therapy and medicine for depression. I have thoroughly researched the benefits of antipsychotic drugs and came away learning that they are terribly for children, NOT EVER TESTED ON CHILDREN and that they cause more problems then they cure. I also have a very strong religious conviction which they denied me to use in helping my children. To this end they lkeep demanding counseling for my children who as teenagers refuse to go or say "I won't speak tothe therapist" They are doing fine and as a matter of fact my one daughter just made two pots of mac and cheese to bring to a homeless shelter dinner tonight. She holds a job and excels at school. Her sister is doing well in school too but she suffered a head injury that CPS feels she needs pills. They will not listen to a diagnosis I got from a Hospital. They are effectively harassing a fabulous mom who does drink smoke but instead uses organic food and products for her children and uses organic cleaners for the house.
This is so distressing, I pray that no other parent goes through this harassment but it is not warranted. My children are fine and they just keep persisting in making me go to court and even though I give them evaluations names of therapists it is never good enough. They call my therapists and tell them "I'm on thin ice with CPS" Tell me my kids need meds even though a hospital said NO MEDS.
This has to stop where are my civil rights to raise my children as I see fit, Where is my right to use religion in treatment? It is total abuse of power and it is runing my 8 year old son!!!
