Applied for a 1st mortgage and indicated I had a 3 family house. The requirements from penfed required a Credit Card Before submitting. Was informed the next day that Penfed Doesnt offer mortgages on 3 family owner occupied homes. My credit card was charged 75 dollars for a product they didnt offer. This was NOT a product I didnt qualify for but a product they didnt offer! Many telephone calls and E-mails where exchanged but their supervisor said that I was informed and that they would NOT refund the money charged to my credit card. No sensitivity, No customer care, No common sense just basic nastiness and I DONT CARE attitude over 75 dollars? Just think what COULD happen doing business with these people? Basically I Was charged for something they didnt offer, OR in my opinion they practice borderline fraud or at the least horrible customer practices.
