Petro Fuel Centers Reviews

Stopped at the petro shop in Oklahoma city,Ok.I need air conditioning work done on my Semi.I new exactly what needed to be fix,As I have done this myself in my drive way. I called Rush Peterbuilt in ok city to price the parts.I needed a new ac condensor coil .I was quoted $235.00 for the coil. After I received the bill from petro they charged me $569.41 for this coil. After some reserce I discovered there is 3 different coil with 3 different prices. Now I asked the mechanic at petro before he sent someone to pick the part up what the price was for it.He told me he would'nt know until they picked it up.So i was never given the choice of which one to put in.I called the manager of the shop and all I got was we will refund the $150 some dollars the price they marked it up to.Keep in mind the price for the highest price coil is around $400.00.So with that said they gave me the money on my ultra one card that is useless unless you spend it at a TA or Petro. So basically I got noting back from this Deal.I feel that petro owes me $330.00 the difference in the price of the 2 coils. They also charged me $142.95 for r-134a freon. Now my truck holds 5.5 lbs of freon in the system,That is the equilevent of 7 cans of 134a off the shelf at walmart for $6.50 a can.So they steal straight out $100.00 for freon.

For anyone having ac work done they alway pull a vacum and hold test checking for leaks. To my knowledge of doing this work at home if there is a hairline crack a vacum pull will close the crack and it wont show up.These system operate at psi levels up to 300.ac systems need to be check both ways for leakes.
