Phoenix Labs Inc Reviews

I saw a 14-day free trial of RVTL Anti-Aging Cream advertised online and endorsed by Dr. Oz. It was actually an ad for 2 products that you had to use together but you had to sign up for 2 different free trials from different companies. The other product was Equinox by Sheridan Labs. They both ripped me off in the exact same way but I guess I have to make a separate report on the other company.

You were supposed receive a 14-day supply of RVTL and after trying it you could just cancel. If you didn't cancel then you would receive a 30-day supply monthly thereafter for $99. Their Option to Cancel was a fraud as there was no Tel.#, email, or web address on the product's box, leaflets, or booklets. There was also none on packing slip. Advertisement no longer online.

I agreed to participate in free trial. I was unable to cancel through no fault of my own. I received a 30-day supply of RVTL in the mail. (I also received the free trial of Equinox and the 30-day supply of same and was charged $93.00 and $99.95 respectively.)

I realized that since I was sent the first monthly supply of each that they must have charged it to my credit card. I called credit card today and was told I had been charged a total of $397.90 in 4 separate charges. I was very angry and told her what happened. She transferred me to the Dispute Department and they got RVTL Customer Service on the phone(how did they do that?).

It was explained that 14-day free trial was not free if I didn't cancel and so I was charged full price of 30-day supply even though they only sent me 14-day supply. He said I was wrong and that they had sent a full 30-day supply as the trial. Well he lied because I have the containers. The trial sample weighed 1 oz. and the 30-day supply weighed 1.7 oz. (The same was true of the Equinox Serum. The trial serum was 1/2 oz. in both the Day Serum and the Night Serum and the 30-day supply weighed 1 oz. in each of the two sarems.

The Customer Service Rep acted like he was doing me a big favor when he gave me a cancellation # so I would receive no further shipments. But he would do nothing about the other charges. I told him that after an hour's research online I found a couple of sentences on another Dr. Oz ad that said that RVTL and Equinox would no longer be available because the companies stole the formulas from another company and the products had been taken off the shelves. The Rep said this was untrue. He said they have over 10 million satisfied customers.

Then he gave me the Tel. # to Equinox and they said and did the same thing he did. 10 million customers! That puts the scale of this fraud in a whole other territory. I hope the government does something about it and I am going to write to my Congresswoman who used to be the head of the Consumer Protection Agency.

In November 2013, I ordered skin care products from a company called Equinox DNA online. The product arrived about a week later. It did not have any information inside about how to contact them to cancel. I researched online and found a website, called the number on the site several times, with no response and no ability to leave a message.

I finally found an email address for customer service and emailed them with all pertinent information, asking them to cancel. No response.

Finally I contacted the credit card company to dispute the charges.

Last week two more boxes came from the company! I went online and this time, had several frustrating calls with customer service people. They told me my account was in their "concern" department, that not only could I not return the product, but that my card was charged again - now totalling over $200.

In response to my requests, they said that there was nothign else that coudl be done, there was no one else to talk to, and that my email had been sent to the wrong address, even though it was on the website - there were actually three different websites, and I had not sent to the right one. All three sites advertise the same product, with the same physical address, but with three different email addresses and phone numbers. This is obviously shows intent to confuse customers and impede their ability to communicate with the company.

Unclear business jargon. I am a senior citizen and was dazzeled by the site and antiaging-anti-wrinkle serum.I wordered what I thought was a Free Trial - 14 day trial. I used the samples provided per the instructions a. and within 3 days my face was inflamed. The cream and serum caused my rosacea to flare up. I called and canceled within the 14 days. I didn't realize this was a recuring monthly program and conveniently they have no record of me canceling. they have deducted over $400 from my account with two months of shipments charged with in 16 days of each other. They will refund a portion of the 2nd shipment, approx. $143 or +$200 - restocking, postage etc. and will do nothing for the 1st shipment that I did not catch the earlier deduction. They said their website has complete instructions of recurring and that my order was a binding legal agreement. WOW, who knew. I'm wanting less wrinkles and so distracted by their claims, that now I see are not typical, that I did not read the fine print. I cvould read the fine print it was so fine.

Being a senior citizen has its draw backs and not understanding their fine print & what I was agreeing to so far is very costly. All over their ad it shows, $30 for the bottle, not the $99 + $105 that I was charged. I feel totally victimized by this company.
