Here I am offshore on a ship and a message just came through the computer here that my daughter had been raped via her mother. All kinds of feelings had rushed through me being stuck on the ship and not able to protect my daughter made my blood boil. Once the initial shock had faded a bit my daughter's mother went on to explain that the Pinellas County Deputy arrived to take my daughter off the missing child list; it was reported the night prior that she was abducted and that it was not his job to take the report of rape "Just taking her off the missing child report Ma'am" after the mother advised she would not allow my daughter to go off and speak one on one about the rape, claiming it was the law that the guardian is not allowed to be present and offering no guidance in what to do. My mind has been spinning in wanting to contact the sheriff to ask about this but the ships phone onboard is broke and have only the internet to make contact... No email address for Pinellas County Sheriff or branch offices are available. I will add or delete as info comes in, my daughter is waiting at the Pinellas Sheriff's Station to make a report. Must be considered a minor crime a 24y.o. man taking and raping a 15 y.o. girl in that part of the world
