Charges for "3000 credits" at $9.99 per month started appearing on my Sprint bill. What few games we have on our phones are all from the Apple AppStore and are paid for through iTunes.

I did some research, this company has no address or contact information on their web site. Even the "Terms of Service" and "Privacy Policy" links at the bottom of the site don't work.

I contacted Sprint and they removed all the charges and blocked these types of charges on all my lines.

This just started happening to me....

The same thing just happened to me. I just realized that this was on my bill for the last 4 months. Sprint removed some but not all of these fraudulent charges. These folks should see some jail time.

I am a Sprint comsumer and recently received my monthy statement. It was higher than usual so I called Sprint and they said I had a charge of $9.99 added to my account. I inquired as to why and they stated that I had signed up for an application titled Play Phone on September 14, 2015. They also let me know that I would have a reoccuring month charge of $9.99. I told them in no way did I sgned up for this or any other gaming application. They informed me that I could have Play Phone blocked from charging me any more money in the future but that I would have to pay this month's charge. I am extremely annoyed and want to know how I could be charged for something that I in no way authorized.

December 2016 Scam is still alive and well

I was charged $9.99 for 3 or 4 months for playpoints until I caught it. Dealing with Sprint has been extremely frustrating.

Been there and done that...

Just spent an hour with Sprint. They were playing dumb. Wish I saw these posts first.

SPRINT and Play Phone Inc are still scamming!!

It's October 2016 and Sprint and PlayPhone Inc are still scamming consumers. This is ridiculous and Sprint should be ashamed.

Someone should be going to jail!

Realized after 4 months that I was being charged $9.99 month via sprint for 3rd party service "3000 playphone play credits". Obviously I never authorized this, nor is there any sort of game or "play credit" that I have any access to. What a surprise that I find all sorts of scams linked to Playphone! Sprint was at least willing to refund 2 months of the charges and block any future services fees - but this is ridiculous. Someone needs to be arrested for theft.

This company signs you up for their subscription services if you ACCIDENTALLY click on intrusive pop-up advertisements on your phone. You won't know you've been signed up until you get your phone bill.

This is deceptive, and basically entrapment. Any legitimate company should utilize an "opt-in" format. Most of their money is probably made on unsuspecting consumers who don't scour their bills every month.

For shame.
