I got a call from a Rhode Island number and i had a voicemail from this company, it was an automated recording stating my that I have a summons to appear in court regarding an old debt. The recording included a case number and also stated that if I wanted to handle the matter outside of court Then I should call back as soon as possible because once I would be served, I won't be able to negotiate. Not only did this company call my cell, they called my job twice in one day and my boss told them the first time I was gone for the day. The second time they called she told them not to call anymore. Today they have called my job but did not say anything when the phone was picked up and they called my cell but did not leave a threatening message this time. I have already dealt with one scam company, I do not need to deal with another. I have recently been a victim of identity theft so that is why I'm getting these annoying calls. Do not fall for this! I know the way it should really be done and them threatening to come to my job or my house on a certain day and certain time is obviously incorrect. If they do not stop I will get my attorney to try and handle this.
