Predators and Scammers That WILL be stopped!

Crooks and predators! I was contacted by a young lady regarding setting up a subscription thru their company, at my workplace. I agreed as she said they just simply ask you to pass the magazines around.I asked the young lady if I would receive documents regarding their company and the service they would provide. She said yes. It's going on 2 weeks and I have not received any documents from the company, but I HAVE received consistent and harassing phone calls from their reps asking for my credit card number to pay for the service. What I don't understand is, if u have mailed documents and payment coupons why would I provide my card info to you over the phone. I asked the reps to stop calling my workplace and they continued. Most of the contact through a NO CALLER ID number. This is harassment and a scam. Per Federal guidelines, telemarketers are to state that the call is for sales purposes and that any terms or conditions to canceling, etc should be expressed. None of this was done. I've seen numerous post and reviews of this "company" and their antics, and I am going to go through legal recourse to stop them. They are preying on consumers with backhanded sales techniques. I've contacted a consumer lawyer who has worked cases similar to this one, and I'm confident he will handle not just my case, but many others by having this business shut down.

This company that keeps calling me I read is a fraud!! I wish I knew that! Like a lot of people on this site, I thought I was getting a good deal on some good name brand magazines! So I agreed to subscribe to them because at the time I could afford to get them. Well first off the first lady that called me was very polite and she seemed very honest. Well she called me at the wrong time because I was very very sick with the stomach flu and cold and i was completely out of it. Well I agreed to subscribe and the agreement was a 2 year contract and pay for magazines for 2 something a week for 5 magazines. Well ofcourse to anyone thats a great deal! So she asked me for my debit card or check number so I could get the magazines going but thank God at the time I didnt have my bank account open so she set a later time to get it from me. Well another lady called and she sounded like a older lady and she was very rude and quick to tell me that if i didnt pay for the magzines that it would go on my credit and it would go into legal documentations that I didnt go through with my contract. So I told her how can i get introuble if i never recieved any magazines or even pay the first payment. And she kept on insisting that I couldnt break it or ill have to go to court.

So then i thought well i dont want to get introuble so i said well i get paid friday so i may pay then just depends after i pay all my bills bcus im really far behind and she said well you HAVE to pay friday and i said well like i said itll have to be after bills are paid because bills come before magazines. And she got real rude again repeated everything again and i said can i talk to your supervisor and she said well um your talking to the supervisor and i said so im talkimg to the supervisor and she said yup you are and i said hmm.. so your ahead of the whole thing and she said yup. And i said im pretty sure your not. And she said your being recorded right now and i said okay?? Well whats the name of your buisness and she told me and while i was writing it down she said and??? Very rudely and i said and ill be calling the people ahead of you and i hung up.

Well i was expecting a call back because i knew something was up but i didnt. So i googled the name and i seen that it was a fraud. And i read the reports and i been through what people have been through. So i thought id give my two cents and share with everyone that they are a fraud! These people really need to be stopped!!!! Very angry concerned Magazine Buyer.

As with all the other complaints, I was contacted at work about this magazine subscription. It was a very busy day & I was not really paying attention to the rep. I answered her questions & once I realized what I had done, I tried to cancel. The rep called about 2 days later & I told her to cancel my service again & she said that once we got off of the phone on the initial conversation, the order was placed. She then started harrassing me about the down payment, I tried calling to cancel but kept getting the same run a round. The harrassment on my job is CRAZY!

I received another call about the down payment. I made a 1 time payment because they kept calling my place of employment then I wrote a letter explaing that I no longer wanted the magazines because there had been a change in my financial status. I didn't hear from them for a few weeks. Then the calls started again today. This time they have threaten to get an attorney involved. My office manager heard what was going on & she came out of her office & hung up my phone, the rep called back & my office manager told her this is my place of work & do not call here anymore. Then my cell phone rang. When will it stop? This last person said the magazines would start 8-16 weeks, I have not seen 1 and it's been 8 weeks.

If they put the order in on the day of conversation, why does it take so long for them to start?

Anyone every get a call at there place of business from this company.. PLEASE HANG UP!!!

Consumer Beware!

Same thing here! A very nice lady called me at work (I am no longer there) and went through the same process. However, they NEVER said there was only a 3-day cancellation period or I would have cancelled immediately. This scam is NOT a good deal as you can buy the magazines you want at the store or by subscription much cheaper. Also, I would prefer to read magazines online or on my tablet to save paper. I know subscriptions can be cancelled and if they already paid up front, they can get their money returned for a subscription that has not even been processed or sent out. They just want your money, so if they call say, "No thanks!" and hang up. Wish I did, but since I was at work I didn't want anyone around to think I was being rude to a customer. BEWARE!!!
