RenuvaDerm Reviews

  • Apr 1, 2015

In mid-January I responded to a free trial online ad from Renuvaderm, advertising two cosmetic products 0.5oz each, for $5.95 and $4.95 shipping. Little did I realize that by giving them my credit card, they had a statement in very light, tiny print stating that I would be charged $94.57 and $89.47 if I did not cancel and return the items within a short period of time. I didn't even see this until I had received my Visa statement showing the charges to two other companies named Modernnuskin and Renuskin. I called and cancelled as soon as I received the bill, both with Visa, and these companies. However, they contested and Visa said I would have to pay it. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the State of Alaska Attorny General's Office, since I feel this company is a big scam, taking advantage of senior citizens. When you read through their advertisements they don't know the English language very well, showing several improper sentence structures, making me believe they're actually originating out of a foreign country.

I too placed an order for the free trial and later was charged $95.57 and $89.47. I did not know that I was getting a full months order. It said TRIAL.. I am pissed because it took 6 days to get here. How is that a 14 day trial? they are scammers and crooks.. their advertising it very deceiving. I would not ever do business with these people again and I advise no one else to do it either...

Last I knew a TRIAL was a trial.. meaning a smaller size of something to try.. not send a whole month and then charge someone all that money.. I don't care what their agreement says.. I agreed to TRY the product not be charged $200 for the s***...

glad i read this first

all I can say is thank you guys for your reviews because you just save me what seems to be a lot of trouble. I was just about to order the free trial but I decided to look to see how the product actually work when I came across this site. so thanks again and I wish the best of luck to each and everyone of you on getting your money back

Rip Off RenuvaDerm should be outlawed for deceptive practices. They lie on the internet about their products & lie about the charges for them. They get your credit card number when you pay for the trial sizes and if you dont call and cancel your order in 20 days they automatically charge you full price for the trial sizes.

In 30 days they send you another order and charge full price for it. Nowhere on the website do they tell you how much it cost. They are theives! Dont know how they sleep at nite. And their products suck!

PLEASE DO NOT purchase renuvaderm from renuva in california, they are SCAMMERS and will deduct payments from your account even if you had cancelled

This is a complaint against RenuvaDern for using false advertising/scam practice. They offer a free trial of eye cream and face cream for shipping charges only which should be $4.95 and $5.95. Beware, when you get your credit card bill the amounts that are charged are far greater in the amounts of $89.47 and $94.57. This company uses two different shipping and mailing addresses. I reported to my credit card company and the amounts were wiped off. Company was blocked from future charges. Beware there are other complaints of this company. The company is known for rip offs. Be careful.

I paid for the S&H for the RenucaDerm free samples and was later ripoff by this company because they charged my debit card for the full price of two free samples. When I contacted the company, the rep told me that I was chargd because I did not return the free samples within 15 days. On the bottles, the instructions said to use the products two to thre weks for results. The charges were unauthorized. When I informed the rep that the eye serum did not work, she informed me that I probably needed more time for my skin to work in conjuction with the serum. Although I saw some results from the skin creme, I was not convinced to purchase future skin creme after the company charged my debit card.I told her to cancel any future notifications which they did through my email. This an ambush by this company and I hope their greed stops. How can a company charge you for free samples? The amount taken from my card is $182.00. This sripoff bother me so much that I was going to contact them again until i found this website. Hopefully, I can get my money back.

Ordered 2 samples from this company for which I agreed to pay @ $5.99 each. Looked over the fine print for any scam language, but some 14 days later, they charged my credit card for nearly $200! Since I have not to date received that cc statement, I only found out about it by accident. No invoices were sent when they shipped me the product. And then they sent me another shipment 30 days after that! At no time did I sign up for a monthly agreement. But they make it hard to find the details of their deal.

Even so, they are telling me that, even if I return the original product, a refund is "not an option."

I ordered a free trial for renuvaderm skin serum. I paid the S&H of $4.95. 14 days after the original charge, I was charged $94.57. When I called I was told that the free trial was only for 14 days. After that, I was charged the full purchase price of the product. When I was looking at the original marketing I was careful to check to be sure this was no club or recurring order so I thought I was safe.

A free trial means you get to try the product for free, not a 14 day delay in paying an over inflated price. This is a scam to get access to your banking information!

The product can be purchased on Amazon for 29.99 so where do they get off chargiong 94.57????

I went back to the original ad and I can see the agreement in very small print and light in color. This company is unethical.

Protection from ripoffs!

I ordered the same free trial, but I use a gift card to protect my accounts when ordering online!! The amount on my gift card is limited so I cannot be overcharged at a later date. I suggest you all do the same in the future!

RenuvaDerm

This is a total scam and I had the same experience as the people above. My problem is : I failed to cancel the first unwanted

shipment in time ( within 30 days ) so I am stuck with over $200.00 in unwanted products. What can I do??

  • Feb 3, 2015

Renuvaderm is a destructive product. I used it as prescribed and my face started peeling, At first I thought it was OK until my skin started sliding off in little spots. I called the numbers on the two jars and 1-855-342-3337 after the phone rings 4 times then the phone is silent(no answer). The other number 1-888-605-6670 answereed and verified all my contact information, when I told her to please remove my name from anything to do with this product because of its effect on my skin. She no longer spoke a word to me. The phone went silent and she was gone. I called back 10 times each time thenumber was busy. I will monitor my card for any other charges. This product is a Rip-Off.

  • Feb 3, 2015

I have tried many wrinkle creams and I saw this ad and thought I'd try one more. It is a free trial so only paid for shipping. The product is dangerous and ruined my skin. My face has been peeling for a week. I decided to contact the company to make sure they didn't send me any more of this "stuff".

I was unable to contact the company. No one answes the phone. It just rings and rings and then a busy signal and it hangs up. Upon receiving the product, there was no paperwork with it.

This is a total scam and no one should use it. Another company trying to take advantage of seniors. Young people don't have wrinkles.

  • Feb 3, 2015

I saw a trial offer for a skin serum and thought I would try it, especially when it said "just pay shipping and handling." I received the product and the eye serum as well. I never ordered the eye serum. I tried to contact the "company" and could get no one on the line. Today my debit card was charged $94.57 and $89.47.. Again I tried to phone and no answer. I phoned my bank to cancel my debit card. My bank is working with me on this...

  • Feb 2, 2015

I was under the impression I was ordering the trial offer with only shipping charges authorized. I received only one shipment and based on size thought this was trial offer. My credit card was billed after 2 weeks for charges of $89.47 and $94.57 I asked that these charges be removed from my credit card and my request was denied. I feel the ad was misleading and this is a scam. How do I get reimbursed?

  • Jan 30, 2015

This is was for a trial sample of face cream and eye cream shipping and handling only. I did receive the order quickly but soon found out that they charged me 94.00 dollars for eye cream and 89 for the facial cream.

i called the customer service number and they tried to say it was not free, i stated no where did it say i was to pay full price. i told them i would notify the BBB. a few minutes later i received an email stating all monies would be returned.

  • Jan 29, 2015

Do not talk to them. i do have cancelation emails from them but they never reimbursed my bank. my bank several times said they investigated. i was finally credited back. and two months later charged again. outrageous. i have filed another claim but no one is doing anything about this. everyone i speak with keep giving different info. even told me to call this company again, but they refused to talk to me because i have a report with the bank. i keep telling them if you did send me anything like you say, email me the proof. anything. but they just hang up on me stating that they can't talk to me.

Renuvaderm ,unauthorsed charges 89.47 and 94.57

  • Jan 27, 2015

Renuvaderm, supposedly a cosmetic manufacturer, has an online ad inviting consumers to try their face care product for free, you pay nothing more than shipping and handling. I ordered it. The product arrived and I set it aside to try later.

This morning, I see that one of my bank accounts is overdrawn, and that two unauthorized withdrawals of $94 and $89 had been made on it. I thought I'd been hacked, but phone numbers next to the transactions led me to Renuvaderm.

I called. Their explanation is that because I fell for the ad, I had been set up for their automatic-shipping plan, and would be getting more Renuvaderm in the mail. "But I haven't even tried the sample, yet," I said. "I'm sorry, but these charges are not reversible," the telemarketer said.

I was quite upset. The Renuvaderm rep said she hears it all the time. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, or someone who could authorize the reversal of this stolen money, she said there is no such person.

Conclusion: Renuvaderm is a scam setup using deceptive online advertising to gain access to credit cards and bank accounts. With such a sleazy criminal element as this operating the company, I am afraid to put the product on my skin.

Now, I'm out a substantial amount of money for a product I wouldn't touch with a stick.

Please help us victims of this scam track down the crooks behind Rejuvaderm and get our money back!

same thing here....but I am promised a refund....hopefully

Same thing happened to me....ordered the eye serum and the skin creme and agreed to pay the $12 or whatever it was. Then saw that my bank account had been charged -89.47 and $ -94.57. I called this number: 855-342-3337. I had to be firm....told them they were taking food out of my children's mouths and that it wasn't fair! At first they offered HALF a refund....but I held my ground....said I wanted to talk to a manager. She informed me that they will refund the whole amount...should take 3-5 business days. So I guess now I will wait and see if it happens. Will let you know if it doesn't happen!

  • Jan 25, 2015

refund?

Did you receive the refund?

Renuvaderm total scam

Same as all of the other complaints. Caught mine after the first charge of 95.00. Called to complain to no avail.

  • Dec 30, 2014

I put all this info above, but basically they scam you by advertising a "free sample" of eye and face cream, just pay shipping <$5.00 then charge your credit card for almost $200....

Please report them

  • Dec 30, 2014

I ordered 2 facial creams offered as a trial over the internet & was charged just for S&H of $4.95 & $5.95 which I paid. Within a month I received anoither package of the same creams which I did not order.

When my credit card statment arrived, I was charged not only for the package which I did not order, but I was charged TWICE. The charges were for the full price of the jars/tubes sent to me: $94.57 & $89.47. Thus, I was charged a total of $368.08 for 4 products which I did not order.

The customer support person with whom I spoke at RenuvaDerm stated that by ordering the trial versions I was enrolled in an auto-ship program to purchase these products monthly.

When I complained that I did not agree to such an arrangement, I was told that this procedure was part of the Terms & Agreement which I should have read. The advertisement which I was responding did not have any mention of Terms & Conditions.

  • Dec 23, 2014

I ordered product (face serum and eye cream) as a free trial just pay shipping. This was in November

In December I receive a box which I opened to find another bottle of serum. A week later another box arrived which I did not open. subsequently, I checked my bank a count. I was shocked to see 4 charges to this company.

December 16 94.57

December 16. 89.47

December 17. 94.57

December 18. 89.47

I contacted them via web page. In the meantime I saw a similar report regarding same company.

looks like I will have to cancel my credit card and figure out how to get my money back.

RENUVADERM scam

I agree with the reply from the lady before me. I don't feel like they deserve even 1 star. This is the worst scam I have ever been caught in. I have had $ 400.00 charged to my account and the only thing I have received is a crappy trial sample. I spoke with someone tonight who assured me he had cancelled me as of tonight. When I had cancelled the offer shortly after receiving the trial samples.

I hope someone will put this company out of business for their business ethics. I have ordered a lot of products on line and have never, never had such a problem.
