I met with Mr. Crescente to first replace my AC Duct work. I paid him 50 % up front which was $800. He then told me he was unable to do the work and after repeated request to return my monies we agreed he would replace my roof for $6900. Again 50% up front and 50% when the job is complete.
After paying Mr. Crescente approximately $5000 he told me he still owed roofers from the last job he had and if he did not come up with money to pay them they would not work on my roof. So since I did not have the monies to pay another roofing company I was left with no choice but to pay $750 for Mr. Crescente's workers pay from a job done prior to my home. I was then told my house was almost complete and to call an inspection in. The house miserably failed the inspection.
Mr. Crescente repeatedly tried to obtain money from me and when I stopped writing checks he stopped working. It then rained and caused damage to my home. He was paid a total of $6721 and never finished the job. He also placed in his estimate for a garbage dumpster and plans and permits. He then had me pull my own permits and used a dumpter I had which by his own estimate would have cost over $700. So here I sit with my roof is disrepair while he looks for his next victim.
Please know I later found out he is currently under eviction from his landlord, he was arrested in a major pill sting operation and for sexual assault charges!!! He brings his girlfriend Nicole Farmer Adams with him. She is on probation for drugs also arrested in pill sting operations and has a history of robbery and theft!! BE VERY CAREFUL....... THIS MAN WILL ROB YOU! AND NOT COMPLETE ANY WORK!
