Restore 1 Inc. contracted our company for carpet restoration. In good faith we invoiced them, and agreed to 30 day net. This company promises payment, but never delivers. They change A/P clerks rapidly, so you get a different person each time you call. each clerk request all invoices to be sent to them, by the time you follow up, there is a new clerk. This is a great system of theft if you are an unscrupulous business owner. If you are lucky enough to reach Jack, the owner, he will promise payment, but then he will avoid all your calls in the future. If you dont like to work for free, then do not be a sub-contracting company for this unscrupulous company or you will be the next to post on Rip Off Report.
I hired Restore 1 / Restore 24/7 through First Choice, a referral company recommended by my insurance, to complete some storm related repairs to my roof and house. Jack Hanks suggested that I use some of the insurance claim to do a change order, to have some additional work done. (BTW Jack, this is not kosher with the insurance company). I was told initially that it was about a weeks worth of work. I hired them in October of 2014 and it is now April 2015 and the work is still not completed. In December, they asked me to sign off on the insurance so they could get paid. Um...NO! The work is still not done!
They ordered the incorrect materials twice. And now they say they do not have the money to pay for the ones they were supposed to order last month. Apparently they do not pay their contractors either.
I have been more than patient. I am fed up. Their lack of communication and inability to complete work in their proposed time frames over and over again is beyond ridiculous. I would not recommend this company to anyone! Unless you want to be strung along, lied to, and frustrated for months on end, DO NOT do business with them.
I will be filing a claim with the BBB and the ROC.
