My wife and I went to Countryside MHP, which is managed by a woman named Gloria, and owned by Paul Chad Comingore on 2/4/15 to look at some of the units that were referred to us by my brother. Upon looking at the units, we came back the next day to look at the units again and decided to rent one of them. We looked at several of them and agreed to rent unit #32. We inspected the unit along with the property manager. During the inspection we noticed the unit had roaches, and the heater was broken, which Gloria told us that they would correct the problems on Wednesday when the repairman comes out. On 2/5/15 we put $1200.00 down on the unit, and signed a 12-month lease, which included us paying $197.90 a week. We ended up paying for the deposit, and the whole month of February. We recieved one key, a receipt for our money paid, and no copy of a lease(which she said said we would recieve but never did), and acopy of the park rules and regulations. Which later said was a copy of our lease.

On Friday, 2/6/10 we move into the unit. When we started moving our stuff into the unit the roaches started coming from everywhere. The unit was infested. I immeadiately called Gloria to inform her of the situation, but no response, so I left her a message about the problem. We brought bug spray, and cleaned the unit, and they were still there. Coming out of the cracks in the walls, the floorboards, and the cabinents. So when we finally get in touch with Gloria, we let her know that we couldn't live under these condtions and we wanted a refund on our money. She told us that she would email corporate office and notify them of this problem, and we be refunded our $1200.00, but we had to write a letter to their corporate office as well explaining why we wanted to be refunded our money. She said after we write the letter and mail it to the corporate office, that they would respond and refund us our money in a couple of days. We had also cleaned the unit and surrenderd it so there wouldn't be any problems with getting our money back as instructed by Gloria. A cuople of days passed and we didnt recieve our money, so we started calling Gloria asking about what's going on with our refund. She keeps telling us that she is waiting on a response from corporate office.

We got a letter in the mail yesterday(2/26/15) from River Run Mobile Home Park dba Countryside Village Mobile Home Park, saying that I owe them $9,516.90 for breaking the lease. Have you ever heard of anything so crazy? This company is fradulent,and non-professional. We moved out of the unit on Wednesday(already paid for the whole month) aand on Friday someone else had moved into this roach infested unit. These people are crazy. The mobile home park smells like sewage, and water standing a foot high in the yards. I am calling the health inspector to go out to check these conditions out. Some of the units needs to be removed and condemed.

These people are running a fradulent buisness, and something has to be done about. I researched the properties after we moved out, and found out that this guy is a slumlord. The manager, Gloria is part of the scam also, and acts like she doesn't know anything. Have you ever heard of a company who has two different addresses as P.O. Boxes, and not a contact number or email information. They want me to send them money to a fradulent P.O. Box. I'm hiring a lawyer, and I'll see them in court.
