RMA Reviews

  • Jan 17, 2015

On 6/2/13, I went to a presentation from RMA who promised to help me get rid of my Timeshare in Florida. They promised to: "designate a licensed third-party title company to generate and transmit to me all the necessary documentation...that willterminate (my) entire ownership of (my) timeshare." RMA "shall be solely resonsible for all costs and fees required to achieve the completion of RMA's Guraranteed Timeshare Solution...."

I never received anything from RMA. However in mid November 2014, I received a call from Jonathan saying that I had not responded to mail, I was "out of compliance" and if I paid them another $699 they would refer my situation to an attorney who would pursue getting me out of my timeshare.

I asked to speak with a manager, and was told she would call me back. She did, but my phone was not owrking properly and we couldn't discuss the problem. I tried again several times and left many messages asking for a return call.

I finally sent a certified mail letter on 26 December 2014, asking for information about the title company that sent me documentation. On January 5, 2015, Tiffany called me and told me the Title Company was In Less Time Closing and they had mailed documentation on 2 December 2013 and also followed up with an email.

Note: The email address Tiffany gave me is not the email address I had provided on the paperwork submitted to RMA 6/2/13. It is not even a valid email address. In addition, the mail that comes to the address I submitted to RMA is to a community box in my neighborhood that has been broken into several times (police reports are on file). There is plenty of evidence that any mail sent to me was never received. The company had a working email address for me, and my phone number. I never heard from them with any kind of followup.

It was not until mid-November 2014 that I heard anything from the company, saying that they were terminating my contract, but keeping the $2895 I had paid them for their services.
