Robert Half Reviews

Complete scam artists.

I was advised by the Department of Employment to register with Robert Half in my search for a new position.

I registered on their website and heard.... Nothing....

I phoned them and they could not find my resume (which is strange because I can see it on their system). They asked for another copy and stated somebody would soon be in touch so I emailed it to them.

Two weeks went by and no phonecall. Then I called them again and a very lackadaisical woman answered and passed me around a few more people before finally they asked me what my schedule is then gave me an "interview date when I'm supposed to be working". That means I had to miss work to see them.

I turned up at their office - no parking - I had to PAY to park on the street! Just about everybody else offers free parking for clients and customers.

Anyway, I got in and they didn't seem to have much of a clue. My resume says clearly Microsoft Office skills yet they insisted I had to do a "test" with Microsoft Office. At that point, I just walked out. These people aren't serious about anything. I don't know where they make their money - it certainly isn't from recruitment. It's probably a front for a Colombian drug cartel or something, judging from the smell of cannabis smoke in their foyer.

I have been unemployed for quite sometime and reaching out to all staffing agencies in Central Florida. A recruiter with the name LaTonya Nichols ([email protected]), also identified as the branch manager for the Orlando office located at 301 E. Pine St., contacted me regarding doing temp projects for CompuCom, another IT resourcing company I worked with in the past, in the Orlando area. I declined the first offer informing LaTonya that Orlando is about 67 miles away and the pay rate the project offers is too low to cover travel time and mileage. LaTonya, then, informed me that CompuCom will reimburse me for the mileage at the rate of 0.43 per mile.

On 4/30/2014 LaTonya Contacted me regarding a 3 day project in Orlando for one of CompuCom's clients.

I accepted the assignment and attended the 2 1/4 hours phone training along with all the documents that contains the instruction and procedures for the system migration from Winows XP to Windows 7.

After I completed the assignment, I entered the hours worked for the project on Robert Half payroll website www.fieldglass.net, but could not find where to submit the 268 miles I drove for the 2 day assignment but filled out an excel worksheet for compucom milage log, emailed it to Tim Minneci identified as a project coordinator ([email protected], PH:877-838-6924) and copied Latonya Nichols on the email.

Tim Minneci (Project Coordinator) relpied that he was not aware of any mileage reimbursment for the project and that I should speak to me recruiter regarding this issue.

Several attempts were made to get an answer from Recruiter/Branch Manager via email, but Ms. Nichols did not reply over 1 week period. Furthermore, she stopped sending read receipts from any future emails.

It's obvious that recruiter/branch manager LaTonya Nichols had made a misrepresentation on behlaf of Robert Half Technology, and unable to cover her tracks nor honor a promise she made.

* There are many reports on this site regarding Robert Half staff malpractice and abuse, Consulatns, beware *

I'm seeking assistance to escalate this issue to Robert Half upper management, since the recruiter was not willing to cooperate.

Thanks

Rick
