I have seen sharon personally with these horses.....and all her other pets...it sounds to me like there is 3 sides to every story and I am having a hard time beleiving yours. Maybe she did screw you I dont know there is 3 sides to a story, but by reading this letter it sounds like you are throwing peoples names out there that are not backing your story up. Where is Sharons mom or Ally to complain...Take care of your business with these people and MOVE On.....Like I said I have seen Sharon with these horses personally and I for you to say that these horses are not taken care of ....Shame on you! I have nothing to gain by this excpet letting people know that this rescue really is doing great things.
These people, Sharon and Danny Burrier trade as Rocky's Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation. They do not have any Maryland state license, are not in the non for profit database for Maryland and have ripped many people off. If you buy - it is not adopt cause their adoption contract is not valid, they are not a valid rescue. Bought a horse and actually worked for these jerks. When I wanted to move my horse to another location, was told I was a terrible owner, and they repossed my horse. Well they owe me over $600.00 dollars for the purchase price of my horse and I am not the only one that they have pulled this trick with. In fact, Sharon gave my horse first to her son's girlfriend Ally after repossing my horse, then took her away from Ally and resold the horse.
They are making a profit on reselling the horses after they claim you to be a horrible owner. BS, I boarded my horse with these idiots and fed the rest of the horses there 4 to 5 times a week for free. Now Sharon is attempting to reposs the horse her OWN MOTHER purchased "adopted" from this fraud of a rescue. RUN do not WALK away from these folks. To top it all off, they "owners" Sharon and Danny think nothing of punching the horses at their facitlity as a method to make the horses move out of their way. They never clean the stalls unless they can con a volunteer into doing it for them, when I first visited the manure in the stalls had been there so long there was mold growing on the manure piles. In the process of a lawsuit to recoup money spent for my horse, I can only pray that she is in a better home, far far away from these folks.
