I met Ron in 1997 answering an ad about joining a singing group. I soon learned that the singing group had a manager. Some of the girls weren't without talent - but some of them really couldn't sing. I later learned that all the other girls were strippers - and they seemed to give him a cut of their earnings. Everything people say here is true - he is manipulative and controlling. He doesn't want you to have a boyfriend (though I did) and he talks like he has connections- but doesn't. I never had anything physical happen - and though he was sleezy and talked about how women were into him - I made it really clear I was not at all interested. I never spent the night at his place- I just rehearsed there. I had my own place - and though he invited me to move in when my lease was up - I declined. I didn't stay involved for very long - he was too controlling and once I found out the girls I was singing with were actually strippers - it was hard to take any of it seriously. He preys on young women - but I was fortunate to have a low threshold for BS at a young age. He is not related to anyone of wealth or fame - he is a nobody.
