I have been a Rushcard customer for 3 years my card expires on September 30th they was supposed to send me a replacement card I gave them my correct address 5 times and no one sent anything I called yesterday to see where my card is because I get ssd benefits nobody they claimed I never gave it to them and had to pay 30 dollars for a card just to get my money on time I'm on a fixed income with a child and its not fair that I have to pay for their mistake the money was supposed to be deducted when my deposit hit but itwas already taken leaving me with a negative 28 dollar balance that's not right and I want my money back.

Would love to start out saying thanks rush card for totally not giving a dang to a "valued" customer for a year. There was a fraudulent charge on my account yesterday. I called rush and she told me that she refunded my money And she did) in less then 20 minutes. Then she told me in the morning pull your money out, call us back and she would issue a new card so this would never happen again. This morning i stop to get diapers and to pull the rest of my money out, low and behold rush card lets the same fraudulent charge get charged again on my account leaving me with a "0.00" balance for the rest of the week.. Which means borrowing money so my 3 month old wont go without... So now 2:05 in the afternoon while calling rush card 5 different times, the best i get is well maybe 45-90 days it will be back on the card... But wait, they cancelled my card and are issuing me another so even if i don't get a refund ill never know because rush has never did what they said they would except for the one and only lady bless her heart that did something about it yesterday... All rush card had to do was call the merchant to issue a refund.. And they will not!!! i would love to talk to mr. Russel to let him know how displeased i am in the fact that i did everything the lady told me and now im screwed... Keep it up rushcard you definatley made me an unbeliever in everything you say

First off: why did you let the same person charge my card again.

Secondly: getting lied to on the phone twice about no supervisors on duty, then i call again and get a supervisor...

Thirdly: doesn't a business have the contact information to someone that would actually speak proper english and help you.. You know the whole customer service you guys totally cut out of the equation

Fourthly: being a manager myself i only feel right in transferring all of my employees to a different card service so this does not happen to them!!!!!!!!

Finally: thanks for caring "rushcard" for all you've done which is absolutely nothing in my time of need...I will be transferring all of my employees to a different card service for direct deposit because you do not deserve them or their money.

My employers put the information for my direct deposit to be sent to rushcard on Tuesday the 21st and i get paid every friday. Friday came i called nothing was on my card i called rushcard they said theres nothing there and my employers showed me that the direct deposit went through so in short rushcard took my money saying they cant find it and saying thats all they can and going to do.

My husband has had his rushcard for about one year. On one occasion while we were out to dinner someone used his card number to make $100 worth of purchases from Amazon. He receives alerts when his card is used. He called card services right away and contacted Amazon. Amazon actually stopped the payment and the 100 was credited back the same day. Well while he was away someone used his card once againg for 177.29 at a cvs in a totally different township, while his card was in his possession. He was told to file a dispute. He was told he would get a provisional credit which was a lie. Two days later after he filed the dispute he was told his case was closed. What investigation did they actually perform. It is all a scam and now he has to wait for a new card because unfortunately he has another pending direct deposit which has actually been applied to the old card. He was told it would transfer once he gets his new card so its a matter of just waiting until he gets the new card. Lets see what kind of scheme they come up with next. So he does have a police report and they now want him to send a rebuttal. Its all a scam and its so obvious because i have read so many other complaints. Russell Simmons should be ashamed to represent such a shady company.

On the 10th of November I requested a new card be expedited to me so that way it would be here by the time I received my check on Thursday. I misplaced the old one. I receive my new card 11/13/14 called to activate, everything went ok, no problems. Later that night I tried to go to an A.T.M. but the A.T.M. said it was unable to process this. I called rushcard and spoke with a representative who advised me that they were having maintenance issues and that I just needed to re-activate my card and then to wait an about hour before using the card. I waited the whole hour then went back to the A.T.M. and again my card was not working! I called rushcard again and again the representative said they were having maintenance issues and I needed to re-activate my card! One more time I was assured that I needed to re-activate my card again and it would work. It was almost 11pm by this time so I went home and thought I would try it in the morning. This morning (11/14/2014) I went to the A.T.M. again and this time it was saying that my card was invalid! I called rushcard again and a lady told me that this card I have here was the old one not the new one. I preceded to tell her that this card was the one I barely received not the old one, I lost the old one! Then she tells me, well it looks like they issued you a new card today and you will be receiving that on Monday! I was so infuriated at this time! I told her no this is ridiculous, this is why I ordered my card on Monday to be expedited, so it would be here on time, and now your telling me I have to wait! I have 2 young boys and I am single mom. I had a lot to pay for today, including groceries and I really needed that card! I told the representative that I wanted to speak to a supervisor! She transferred me just for that person to tell me the exact same thing! I then asked to speak to someone above him and of course that lady (Rhea) said the same thing! Rhea informed she would waive the fee for this card but why should I have to pay for the first card when I couldn’t even use it, and why should I even have to wait for another card when I ordered mine to be here on time, they were the ones who messed up! All in all I am so unsatisfied with their service! I never requested another card to be sent, I only needed this card activated and now me and my babies are screwed, thanks to rushcard!! All I know is I am taking my business elsewhere! I can’t wait to receive my money so I can just cancel with rushcard! I was warned to not get a rushcard, but it was convenient at the time, and of course I didn’t listen! It would of saved me all this trouble!!
