I'm really hurt, because i really thought this was a real church and to see it's really people out there who would use God name in vein.
I've started receiving saint matthew's churches letter right after my daughter was diagnosed with cancer, so at this time i really needed prayer for me and my family. My son was being defiant and disobedient, and me and my husband was talking turns staying at the hospital. The letters was constantly coming so i decided to read and everything was about trouble in my life, so I started believing it, but then they started asking for money, and how God would bless me if I send money, but i really didn't have money due to bill's and my daughter hospital bill's so I decided to send 2 dollars them they send me a biblical seed book, and testimony of other people doing the same thing, but they started asking for more and more money.
I went to the internet for help and what i found really made me sick, we need to expose these kinda people.
I was Ripped off by Saint Matthews Churches, AKA Prayers for Letters.They sent me letters by mail twice a week.For the last five years. Asking for ties and donations. I did as they asked me to do. I mailed money under the impression that they were actually a valid concered church, but the letters indicated that they would not pray for me unless I mailed money to them. The letters told me to not to pay my own bills and to send my bill money to them and to give my worries of poverty (not being able to pay my bills) to God.I am disabled , and sick also on a fixed income. Since then I have been down on my luck and needed help myself finanically I asked them for help. I begged them for help, but they mailed 3 fake thousand dollar bills to me, instead of helping me. I felt like they were making fun of me for believing in them, and they never helped me or prayed for me, but I did mail them money as they asked me to do. I mailed money to them but at least now I know they are a scam. I just want to be heard, and to warn others not to send money to these people.
