I attended the salters school i did not receive a intership nor did i receive any help after completing the class. i was told once i complete the class i would obtain employment which i did not receive. all i receive is a debt to a school that i got nothing from. this is and was unfair to me and my family to still pay for something and got nothing in return not fair

First I'd like to say that this is not the first college I've been to .i signed up Sept 2004 for a,14 mo massage therapy program. The school is very good at selling itself and is very misleading.i was roped into a student loan mind u I was a single unemployed mother at the time and should have been qualified for full financial aid.i decided to go for the loan with the impression that they were telling the truth about job placement. I graduated at the top of my class which was not hard to do a monkey could have done it and out of all my classes maybe three were challenging.the school is designed to have a high success rate of students who pass but job placement was a joke!!

When I graduated it took me about six months to get a decent job as,a chiropractor assistant. At that time you did not need to sit for the national certification in my surrounding area thank god because everyone who was sitting for it was failing! Which btw you can't just sit for the are fees that go with it including having insurance which is not cheap! I thought I had dodged that bullet only to find out within a few months everyone was gonna be required to sit for this test. The Salter school did not prepare us to be able to pass this test which meant you can't legally work as a mt. Almost all the teachers when we had one ( yes when we had a teacher you read that right) were not certified teachers just folks who worked in the field. It was a complete joke.

I started to see red flags but by then it was too late ....i am now 10,000 in debt its been 9 yrs and I refuse to give them a dime they do take my taxes but that's all they will get from me. I can't go back to school because of this debt because I can't get financial aid. I had a payment plan in 2008 but had to go on maternity leave and asked if I could have a three month hold until I went back to work. They would not work with me and I was insulted by one of the reps ! This school is a joke and hopefully this will help someone else from making the same mistake I and many others have made! To this day I still hear Salter school horror stories so it clearly has not changed and never will!!! Don't waste your time or money!!!!
