I asked a friend of mine who is a member(Pinellas Park, FL) to pick me up a pan of asparagus pomodori w/ sundried tomato. Almost 2.5lbs at a cost of $13.40. The flavor was just fine, however I am VERY disappointed in the product overall. About 1/3 of the aspagus was simply inedible because the bottom, woody portions were included. I feel ripped off. Color me unhappy.

Ina Springer--- How sorry? Such corporate cookie cutter replies mean nothing, in fact it is an insult. If you had read my post, you would know the aparagus was fine, it was the inclusion of the woody, inedible bottoms which amounted to about 1/3 of it. What that means in the language of the bottom line is that I threw about $4 in the trash. UNACCEPTABLE, both product and the hollow apology. For an apology to be meaningful requires ackowledging the exact wrong, making it right if possible AND making every attempt to assure it does not happen again. Fail on all counts.
By the way...am posting this entire convo to the newsfeed, permission set to public. I have 3k+ FB friends who have friends, who have friends.... And there are sites all over the internet to post such complaints. Welcome to this millennium.
