I met Radhika Jenson at an expo, where we were both venders. We had a nice conversation, at my booth about Medicine. As a physician who practiced for over 20 years, I am always in hearing about other forms of healthcare. Radhika, from what I can gather, is a massage therapist who took a course in ayerveda.
I found her, as with many newer practitioners, arrogant, ignorant, and myopic about other forms of heath care. I sat patiently and listened to her talk about some simple concepts that I had learned years ago. At the end of the conversation, she said "wait" and she ran to get some supplements for me. She told me the supplements were $45, and since she's a new practitioner, I agreed. Even though I can order the supplements much cheaper. Later, at my booth, while I was engaged in a conversation with someone else, Shaughn Jenson pushed an iphone in front of me and asked me to sign it (for the supplements). I did. Later, my credit card was billed over a $100.00. I called Radhida about the mistake and she claimed that even though she did not mention any charge, for talking to me, she felt justified in billing me.
Shaughn became belligerent on the phone and I feel like a fool for being generous and purchasing supplements from a massage therapist, and getting ripped off. These people are running a business, and if that's how they do business, beware!
