We hired Sarasota Kitchen and Bath for a complete kitchen remodel. They ripped out the kitchen, put in a doorway and started a knee wall in the dining area. We were without a kitchen for 7 weeks when the cabinets were deliverd. First thing we noticed is the inside color was wrong. Aaron said we would have to wait another 7 weeks to re order so we decided to use them anyway. After installation of some of the cabinets is was apparant this guy had no clue what he was doing. Just a few of the things wrong: ( list of over 50 items)
missing 3 cabinets
wrong color outside of some of them
wrong material on some
up against casings so no room for granite
dishwasher opening 10" too narrow
fridge opening 12" to short ( he had specs and appliances were in the garage)
island off 6 inches
since electric was not done first they cut holes thru cabinets and chipped out shelves to fit over plates
splits and chips in cabinets
when cabinets did not fit they started cutting them to fit
When we called Aaron and asked what was going on he said his installer must have been sick.
After we fired him and demanded our money back he admitted he was in way over his head.
In the end we had NO KITCHEN FOR 6 MONTHS!!!! We hired another company to come redo everything.
To this day Aaron has promised over and over again he would pay us back but we have not seen a dime. Last I heard he said "sorry I dont have the money to pay you back" and HE THINKS THAT OKAY!!! We took our a loan for this and we will be paying it back for 10 years. He told us he shut down his business but I found out he is working on 2 jobs. We hired a lawyer who has contacted him several times but all he does is complain about how difficut HIS life is. He stole $19,800 from us and we cannot affored to let him get away with it.
He assured us he was licensed but we found out all he had was a retail business license. Unfortunately all the state would do is send him a letter and apolgize to us that they cannot do more
