I downloaded the softeare from Satillate direct for about 40 bucks after reading glowing reports on line. Seemed to work pretty well, especially the live sports. As time went on the stations became harder and harder to load and all the good ones that I liked to watch became impossible to open. I followed all their on line problem solvers to no availe. My emails all went unanswered and they advertise it takes at least 12 days for them to answer. Well it has been several months and still I have not received on return email. Then about three weeks ago the live sports server went down for "service" and it is still down. And still no comments from the "Satellite Direct team". About the only station that comes up is Al Jazeera News station and none of the other "premium channels" load at all. Every time I tried to open a channel I am bombarded with ads, some with adult content and others claiming my computer needs updating and new softerware to view content and all are BS!!! So Satellite direct has ads saying pay about 15 bucks a month and the ads will disappear and the stations will load faster. So like a trusting person I go for it, dumb huh! Nothing changes except the fancy graphics when loading up. The ads are still there, no stations load up and the live sports server is still down for "service", which after three weeks seems permanent to me. Don't subscribe to Satillate Direct, they are a rip off!!!!!
I have had satellite direct for about 2 years. I bought it with the promise that it was a one time fee. After 1 year I got a message started asking me for my key, saying my key was not valid.. For almost one year I tried to contact customer service and was referred to click bank then click bank referred me to another site, finally they fixed it. After complaining on an online site. Then just yesterday approximately one year later. I go to turn it on and I get an error saying that Its already installed on another pc.
Well 1. Its the same pc and 2. I don't own another pc. I immediately wrote to customer service and they suggested i take a new subscription.When I said I purchase a lifetime subscription they replied with oh that is the old version. You just need to reinstall it. Which I tried, but I get the same error. They then said to me, you cannot install in on a new pc with an once its already on a pc........ i feel like I am hitting my head against the wall... Its the same PC. So basically as of now.. it doesn't work AGAIN. believe the just want me to upgrade to a new service..... grrrr... buy it at your own risk.. because they don't stand by their own product.
I have he receipt of my original purchase where it clearly states a "one time fee". Thanks.
Company ad says it is a one time fee but later on they claim that it is only for one year and that I need to buy an updated program for more money, if I have any issues like needing to reinstall on same computer.
I purchased a guaranteed lifetime signup for their tv software. When my laptop died, they refused to send me a registration code even though I'd been using the software for years.
Instead, I was sent this:
The support for this product was provided to you for 1 Year. For resetting of the account or new installation on any device would require you to purchase a support pack.
Please try our new Premium version which costs $19.95 Every 3 Months (90 Days). This is for limited period only.
They change the rules and support to fit whatever they want, not what they promised when I signed up. Very dishonest.
