My 11 year old daughter was admitted to Scottsdale Shea Hospital Pediatric ICU yesterday. As Dr Chawla was explaining my daughters diagnosis of diabetes and scaring the bejesus out of us, he then preceeded to asked if I had guns in my home. I immediately responded yes, lots of them. I was amazed he would even ask such an question that had Absolutly nothing to do with my daughters care. When I asked why he would even ask this question, he responded that they want to make sure parents guns are locked up. What business is it of his or the hospital if I have guns, if I do or don't have a Safe?
As a responsible gun owner and law abiding citizen, it is every Americans right to keep and bear arms. It is not the hospitals or Dr Chawla's business wether I have one or a thousand firearms. This is Obama Care 101. Dr Chawla should practice medicine and refrain from getting into people's personal lives. He also has the bedside manner of a tow truck driver.
