Seans Engine Service was supposed to build a 408 stroker engine for my Mustang. When it was picked up after weeks of waiting for the engine to be finished, it was a barely stock engine that would not run. After days of trying to get the engine to run, I took it back to Sean's. By the time he was done with it, the aluminum puuleys were bent, the Edelbrock valve covers were toreup and broken, the K & N Air breather was damaged beyond use. None of the high performance parts had been used in the building of the engine. After taking the engine back, Seans blamed me for the problems with the engine. The engine was pulled out, after the damage was done to outside components, the engine was put back in and it would start and run. But the engine was stock windsor engine. No modifications had been made to it. The transmission was supposed to have been overhauled and rebuilt with high performance parts. When I put the transmission in, it was not shift kitted or stalled like Sean's said it would be. The transmission leaks, so none of the seals were new either.
