As opposed to a diplomatic approach with my lawsuit, he pursued the other party so aggressively and unprofessionally that the judge held him in contempt of the court. As a result of mishandling my case, the case was quashed by the judge. Many months of work and investment went down the drain. In spite of all this, Shahram Kashanian still billed for all hours in and out of court that he claims that he worked on my case.
When I asked him about the guarantee he gave me that I wouldn't owe him anything if he didn't succeed, he replied with "I have no idea what you are talking about." After insisting that I am not making things up and that I heard him specifically make the guarantee, he replied with a snarky "should have had it in writing.
I was so infuriated by this dubious behavior that I walked right out of his office. He told me that he would send a collections agency and may even sue me to collect his unearned wages.
Some time later, I find out that there is a private investigator trying to pry into all the private records of my life (marriage, school transcripts, family records, bank records...) in an attempt to try to find some dirt on me to blackmail me with. Not only was Shahram Kashanian ESQ unsuccessful in court, vulgar in his speech with others, but also works directly or indirectly with people who operate in an unlawful or unethical manner.
All in all, this lawyer is concerned about his own bottom line and could care less about how he attains it or who he has to destroy in the process.
